What you will do

The Portfolio Manager will provide end-to-end leadership in bringing to life our Innovation and Renovation portfolio or Support for Marketed Products portfolio of projects, supporting the U.S. Self Care Supply Chain. The Manager is capable of operating at multiple levels within the organization and deciphering large amounts of disparate information and operationalizing the strategy. This role will support the realization of our innovation strategy and growth targets by balancing our innovation choices, investments, financial, and human resources or driving the realization of our Capital, Expense, and Savings targets to maximize value to the Segment. The Portfolio Manager will be accountable for facilitating portfolio management forums and leading the cross-functional teams chartered with the planning, prioritization, and risk balancing of our innovation or supply chain selections. In this critical role, the Portfolio Manager will collaborate across Squads (business teams), Functions, and Leadership to influence and drive decisions that best promote business outcomes when faced with conflicting priorities and/or constrained human/financial resources.

Key Responsibilities

    • Supporting and/or facilitating regional governance forum for commercial innovation, supply chain project feasibility forum, regional project approval council forum, and Portfolio Management Review, by gathering and coordinating business cases and providing insights based on analytics, hurdles, and portfolio targets
    • Leading the Portfolio processes for innovation, renovation, and support-for-marketed-products projects including: monthly analysis of sales, volume, gross profit; monthly financial tracking of capital, expenses, and savings; and portfolio management system data integrity
    • Support financial cycles such as coordination of 3-year operation planning and business plan
    • Partner with Project Management, Make, Source, Deliver, and Finance functions to deliver key Portfolio Management objectives
    • Provide subject matter expert support for the portfolio management system including: training, individual support, compliance, and linkages to global portfolio
    • Collaborate with key cross-functional supply chain partners to fully integrate end-to-end portfolio management
    • Manage and escalate critical project risks and interdependencies to drive conflict resolution, tradeoff decisions, and strategic prioritization in a fast-paced constrained environment
    • As part of portfolio management team, deliver key financial targets (Capital, Expense, Savings) while enabling operational and growth strategies


What we are looking for
Required Qualifications
    • The qualified candidate will have a minimum of a Bachelor's degree.
    • Minimum of eight (8) years of years of relevant experience across any of the following: Supply Chain, Project Management, Portfolio Management, Procurement, Manufacturing, and/or Deliver/Logistics
    • Proven track record of delivering business results as an outcome of cross functionalcollaboration, managingthrough ambiguity and complexity in a matrixed environment
    • Ability to analyze large datasets and distill into presentable content for senior leaders
    • Excellent oral, written, and presentation communication skills
    • Business and Financial acuity
    • Strong critical thinking and business curiosity, including advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, strong ability to work with complex and detailed data to drive insights and decisions
    • Demonstrated P& L Management preferred
    • Proven leadership & influencing skills across peer sets and executive management preferred
    • Demonstrated facilitation and conflict resolution skills preferred
    • Familiarity with standard portfolio management tools (e.g. Planisware) preferred
    • Demonstrated program management experience, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage dynamic timelines, and drive cross-functional collaboration preferred
    • Ability to influence across various levels of organization preferred


What's in it for you

Annual base salary for new hires in this position ranges:

$124, 100.00 - $175, 200.00

This takes into account a number of factors including work location, the candidate's skills, experience, education level & other job-related factors.
