This role ensures product integrity, safety, and performance align with regulatory standards and brand expectations. This role reports to the Associate Director, Global Packaging Testing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop accelerated consumer-use test methods to predict package design, safety and performance robustness based on insights on the way consumers use the packages, and influence updates to global packaging testing methods as relevant.

  • Develop and validate test methods for evaluating packaging performance, including mechanical, environmental, and compatibility assessments.
  • Analyze packaging failures to identify root causes and recommend design or process improvements.
  • Maintain and calibrate testing equipment to ensure accurate, reliable results.
  • Document protocols, procedures, and test reports in compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate and partner with lab analysists, packaging development engineers, and the packaging sustainability/innovation team while developing test methods and identifying new/advanced equipment for implementation.
