Role reports to: Sr Dir, Supply Planning Excellence

What you will do Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the Planning Transformation program for North America, driving a significant change in processes, culture (people) and tools for end-to-end planning. Define globally and lead regionally, enabling the NA team to bridge between current state and future state. Drive the implementation of a multi-year Planning Transformation Program to step-change the Planning capabilities in the region for the following disciplines:
- Demand Planning
- Supply Planning
- Inventory Management
- Sales and Operation Execution
- Lead and drive all levels of the company towards standard processes, roles, tools and ways of working, managing the NA project plan, ensuring solid risk management and mitigation of potential risks, managing budgets and spend and giving visibility through strong communication to stakeholders, peers and reports throughout global, regional and local interfaces
- Interact with commercial teams to ensure no planning activities are kept outside the planning community, bridging current reality to future standards and driving the change
- Lead a strong change management program to ensure successful design and implementation of a new organization, robust adoption of the new standards before, during and after the transformation effort
- Engage with all relevant stakeholders, including employees, management, and external partners, to gather input and ensure their perspectives are considered in the design of the new organization; this collaborative approach fosters a sense of ownership and commitment to the change
- Lead the implementation and the adoption of a maturity monitoring tool to map progress towards desired future state of planning standards
- Manage a team of external partners, ensuring pace and content are adequate to the planning standards defined at the transformation project
- Effective contract negotiation with external vendors is crucial for ensuring favorable terms and maintaining strong business relationships
- Correct routes and action business continuity plans to ensure timings and budgets are managed to fulfill project commitments
- Measure and enforce compliance with those processes while developing and designing process enhancements and/or introducing new processes in support of new business or in support of the achievement of regional financial goals
- Possess the overall accountability for the competency of the 150+ employees in the supply chain planning organization via leadership of the Training Program, also creating and coaching a network of superusers that will guarantee the continuity of capabilities in the region throughout time; this includes offering workshops, coaching, and providing access to relevant information to ensure everyone is well-prepared for the changes
- Be a protagonist part of the Supply Chain Excellence team in the region and influence across different geographies, areas and hierarchical levels to synchronize processes end-to-end and beyond the planning disciplines, prioritizing, initiating and managing continuous improvement initiatives
- Represent Kenvue and the Planning Community in Planning-specific external forums in NA, as required
- Manage the budget of the Planning Transformation program and of the Planning Excellence team within NA overseeing their financial well-being by analyzing cost effectiveness and directing cost control activities; preparing, submitting, and justifying budget enhancement requests
- Play a key leadership role within the region, developing strong relationships and partnerships with stakeholders across all levels of the organization to effectively influence and conduct the organization towards the increasing maturity of the planning and end-to-end and cross-functional business processes - Make, Deliver, Source, Quality, IT, Commercial, Franchises, Finance, Cluster Leads
- Establish a world-class Planning organization to enable Kenvue to leverage capabilities and create a competitive advantage for NA
- Establish and cultivate a Planning community in the region amongst all Planning employees together with the Global Planning teams that are also based in APAC/EMEA/LATAM, driving a 'One Planning' mindset among teams
- Leverage and maximize fit for purpose world class digital solutions, use of business process outsourcing, and deployment of internal resources for the region
- Benchmark industry best practices and continuously advance planning capabilities
- Bring the 'outside in' into Kenvue from our supplier base and competitor approaches
- Drive impact assessment of changing NA requirements related to legislation and policies
- Coach, develop and recruit world class talent to build regional capabilities
- Develop and implement regional Planning succession plan in partnership with the regional leaders
- Drive implementation of Planning Leadership Team decisions on region and country level, monitoring and supporting successful execution and implementation of planning strategies including leading practices across the planning scope, key stakeholder alignment and customer satisfaction in the region
- Act as point of contact for regional stakeholders and the country management teams
- Manage relationships with regional stakeholder and stakeholder satisfaction, acting as a business partner and representing Planning in the regional organization
- Build and enhance key customer relationships to strive for customer satisfaction within the business and the countries
What we are looking forRequired Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree is required, an MBA or other advanced degree is strongly preferred
- A minimum of 10 years of general business experience and a minimum of 7 years of direct Supply Chain Planning experience, ideally with deep expertise in Consumer Goods and/or Regulated Market companies
- Proven track record of implementing significant transformation projects through multiple geographies
- Strong project and risk management skills
- Ability to work in a global team across cultures and time zones
- Exceptional leadership, communication, influencing, and collaboration skills
- Experience in identifying and harnessing customer-oriented, innovative solutions
- A proven track record delivering strong results against a balanced portfolio of key performance indicators is required
- Excellent people management and influencing skills across multiple levels
- A minimum of 5 years' experience with SAP-APO or similar is preferred
- Six Sigma/Process Excellence tools, training and/or certification are highly preferred
- Extremely good knowledge of Planning strategy development and conveyance
- Advanced knowledge of Planning tools and data, content and automation
- Strong ability to analyze specifications and influence demand
- Strong knowledge of compliance management
- Extensive capability to independently interact with NA Leadership Team
- Ability to influence and understand the diverse needs of stakeholders is required
- Strong Change Management experience
- Action-oriented and solution-minded team player with a high degree of self-management
- Strong financial acumen with demonstrated ability for data-driven and fact-based decision making
- Travel of up to 30%
What's in it for you Annual base salary for new hires in this position ranges:
$183, 175.00 - $258, 600.00
This takes into account a number of factors including work location, the candidate's skills, experience, education level & other job-related factors.
