What you will do

Neutrogena, is a dermatologist-recommended skincare brand and leader in the Skin Health & Beauty category. The brand is seeking a bold, modern marketer to lead the U.S. marketing strategy for this iconic Megabrand. As the U.S. Neutrogena Megabrand Advocacy & Commerce Director, you will own the full-funnel strategy and execution across social, influencer, partnerships, media, and partnerships - with a laser focus on driving relevance with the Gen Z and Hispanic consumer, fueling category growth, and placing Neutrogena at the center of culture.

This highly visible role is ideal for a strategic, digitally fluent brand builder with a passion for culture-led marketing, strong cross-functional leadership, ability to move with agility and bring sound data-driven recommendations, and a proven track record of turning insights into breakthrough impact.

The U.S. Neutrogena Megabrand Advocacy & Commerce Director is responsible for leading marketing strategies and initiatives to drive brand growth and market share. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute innovative campaigns that resonate with consumers:

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead Brand Strategy & Omnichannel Activation: Develop and execute integrated brand plans across digital, social, media, PR, and shopper/POS to grow brand equity, household penetration, and market share - particularly among Gen Z and US Hispanic consumers. This includes seamless integration of plans across key categories, new product launches, and other points of activation and prioritizing across key SKUs, categories and innovation v. base/seasonal moments.
  • Drive Cultural Relevance: Build and activate a marketing strategy that enables always on conversation by identifying, aligning and executing on how Neutrogena can participate in cultural conversations.
  • Own Social & Influencer Excellence: Oversee a high-performing social and influencer marketing strategy across influencer tiers that aligns with brand priorities, product launches, and other key moments. Deepen community and engagement across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and build new platforms such as Medium, TYB.
  • Build a Modern Trade Marketing Capability: Develop and institute a new trade marketing competency that bridges brand strategy with customer activation, partnering closely with customer strategy and sales. Create overall integrated retail plan, develop retailer-ready toolkits and execute flawlessly in an omnichannel environment, aligning with Advocacy calendar to maximize brand moments.
  • Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Partner closely with the global teams, customer strategy, PR media, sales and agency partners to ensure end-to-end alignment across strategy, storytelling, and execution in store and online.
  • Deliver Performance & Measurement: Create and develop Neutrogena dashboard that allows the brand to monitor and deliver KPIs including search trends and ranking, organic social mentions, earned media value, media share of voice, household penetration, digital engagement, ratings & reviews, among others.


What we are looking for

Required Qualifications
  • A minimum of a Bachelor's degree is required
  • Proven track record of success in a senior marketing role within the beauty or skincare industry
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in brand management or consumer marketing, ideally in beauty, personal care, or culturally relevant CPG brands
  • Deep understanding of social, influencer, and digital-first campaigns that drive both brand consideration and business results
  • Proven ability to develop and execute brand strategies that resonate with Gen Z and US Hispanic consumers
  • Excellent storytelling, collaboration, and leadership skills
  • Feet on the Ground, Head in the Clouds: Act as a leader who inspires and empowers others while thriving in being close to the consumer, influencer and trade

  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically and translate vision into actionable creative plans
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively convey creative concepts and strategies
  • Passion for innovation and a keen eye for emerging trends in beauty and marketing
  • Spanish language proficiency

What's in it for you

Annual base salary for new hires in this position ranges:

$183, 175.00 - $258, 600.00

This takes into account a number of factors including work location, the candidate's skills, experience, education level & other job-related factors.
