What you will do We are seeking a visionary and action-oriented Director of Social Commerce to lead our efforts in transforming social selling into a powerful revenue-generating and impression-driving channel for Kenvue. This role will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive social commerce strategy that integrates content, community, and commerce to drive customer acquisition, engagement, and conversion.
Key Responsibilities Strategy & Leadership- Develop and own the end-to-end social commerce strategy across platforms (e.g., TikTok Shop)
- Lead a multi-functional team of 5-10 employees, across social commerce, influencer/affiliate marketing, eCommerce fulfillment, and DTC eCommerce
- Lead agency relationship for social commerce; create financial and media goals, holding the agency and TikTok Shop mutually accountable for results
- Identify emerging trends, technologies, and platforms to keep Kenvue at the forefront of innovation in social commerce
Revenue & Performance- Drive measurable growth in sales and customer acquisition through social commerce initiatives; results measurable both on and off platform
- Set KPIs and performance benchmarks; analyze data to optimize campaigns and improve ROI
- Collaborate with analytics and finance teams to forecast and report on revenue impact
Content & Community- Oversee the creation of shoppable content and seamless customer journeys from discovery to purchase
- Partner with influencers, creators, and brand ambassadors to amplify reach and authenticity
- Foster a community-driven approach to commerce, leveraging UGC and social proof
- Develop, with Kenvue Social Commerce Insights leadership, a strong understanding of consumer journey across social commerce platforms to design highly effective TikTok Shops and amplification plans to meet consumers wherever they are
Platform & Partner Management- Build and maintain relationships with key platform partners (e.g., TikTok, Shopify, etc.)
- Evaluate and implement social commerce tools and technologies (e.g., live shopping, GRWM, try-ons, affiliate platforms)
Required Qualifications - 8+ years of experience in digital marketing, eCommerce, or social media, with at least 3 years in a leadership role focused on eCommerce
- Proven track record of driving revenue through digital commerce platforms
- Deep understanding of social media algorithms, consumer behavior, and content trends
- Strong analytical skills and experience with performance marketing metrics
- Excellent leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Experience with influencer marketing, affiliate programs, and creator partnerships
- Familiarity with tools like Shopify, Sprinklr, Bazaarvoice, or similar platforms is a plus
Preferred Qualifications: - Experience in a DTC or pureplay retail environment
- Background in beauty, lifestyle, or emerging category industries
What's in it for you Annual base salary for new hires in this position ranges:
$183, 175.00 - $258, 600.00
This takes into account a number of factors including work location, the candidate's skills, experience, education level & other job-related factors.
