What you will do We are seeking an experienced and inspiring
Director, Brand & Creative Excellence to help define and elevate how Kenvue builds its brands, and drives creative bravery across the organization.
The
Director, Brand & Creative Excellence is responsible for defining, developing, and codifying the way Kenvue builds brands - one where there is room for both art & science, long & short, essentially bothism. This role focuses on building a culture of creativity and creative excellence while supporting teams in establishing best-in-class brand foundations. The director will guide teams through the creative development process and partner cross functionally to drive integrated communications planning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define, develop, and codify the Brand Building for Kenvue to ensure consistent, effective brand development
- Foster a culture of creativity and excellence within the organization.
- Serve as a strategic advisor and thought partner to brand teams, agencies, and leadership.
- Support teams in building distinctive, insight-led brand foundations and guidelines.
- Direct teams through the creative development process to ensure high-quality outputs.
- Collaborate with the Media lead to guide teams through the integrated communications planning process.
- Provide resources, guidance, and coaching on creative content excellence across paid, owned, and earned channels.
- Work closely with the full marketing excellence team to support overall marketing effectiveness.
- Contribute to the development of training and codification of brand building / creative excellence materials.
What we are looking forRequired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field; Master's preferred.
- 10-12+ years of experience in brand strategy, planning, creative development, ideally in both agency and client environments
- Deep expertise in building meaningful and distinctive brand foundations, brand and creative ideas
- Strong creative judgment and ability to inspire teams towards brave work
- Experience guiding cross functional teams and creative partners through integrated campaign development.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and collaboration skills.
- Proven ability to drive creative excellence and marketing effectiveness.
- Exceptional ability to manage complexity of working across multiple global brand teams and comfort with ambiguity
- Passion for shaping culture, mentoring talent, and building community amongst marketers and agency partners
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience working in or with global-local matrixed organizations
- Background in both client-side and agency-side roles
- Experience developing and deploying brand foundation frameworks at scale
- Familiar with creative effectiveness measurement tools
- Knowledge about marketing growth theories (i.e. Bryon Sharp / Ehrenberg Bass)
- Experience with integrated marketing communications planning
- Expertise in brand storytelling and design thinking
- Experience building capability programs on brand foundations / creative excellence
- Familiar with industry creative evaluation tools (i.e. Links testing)

What's in it for you Annual base salary for new hires in this position ranges:
$183, 175.00 - $258, 600.00
This takes into account a number of factors including work location, the candidate's skills, experience, education level & other job-related factors.
