Role reports to: Regional Senior Demand Planning Manager
Location: North America, United States, New Jersey, Summit

What you will do The Demand Planning Manager is responsible for providing leadership and guidance on demand and supply planning processes in our Skin Health businesses, developing solutions to complex problems, and ensuring effective communication across all levels of the organization. You will facilitate the integration of commercial requirements with Supply Chain business partners while delivering key business results: sales, service, finished goods inventory, slow moving and obsolete inventory, forecast accuracy and compliance. Responsibilities include seasonal/scenario planning, new product introductions, end of life management, customer event planning, business continuity planning, vulnerability business impact planning & process improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and lead the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process to achieve key business metrics and align demand forecasts with production and supply capabilities.
- Develop and manage a 24-month demand plan, focusing on critical metrics such as MAPE, BIAS, and system accuracy, while utilizing SAP and statistical modeling tools.
- Collaborate with Supply Planning, Project Management, and Commercial partners to enhance demand planning and ensure alignment across the supply chain.
- Drive the development of inventory strategies for assigned franchises, including entitlement, inventory planning, and corrective action initiatives.
- Coordinate action plans for Slow Moving and Obsolete (SLOB) inventory with relevant stakeholders, including Regional Strategic Demand and Sales Operations.
- Lead the Seasonal Planning process and strategy, ensuring effective communication and alignment across teams.
- Represent assigned franchises in vulnerability reviews and partner with Sales Operations to implement demand shaping actions.
- Manage New Product Introductions (NPI) strategy and planning for the initial six months, ensuring alignment across demand and supply planning teams.
- Participate in governance forums for NPI and other business initiatives, focusing on risk management and cross-functional alignment.
- Develop and implement demand forecasting models, leveraging market insights and trends for optimized inventory levels and customer demand fulfillment.
- Monitor key performance indicators to evaluate forecast accuracy and identify opportunities for process improvements and automation.
- Provide leadership and staff development within the department, focusing on improving forecast accuracy, customer service levels, and overall organizational efficiency.
What we are looking forRequired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required, ideally with a focus in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field
- 8-10 years of experience in demand planning or related field
- 2 years of experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, Customer Support or Project Management
- Proven track record of successfully managing demand forecasting processes and inventory optimization
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and trends to make informed decisions
- Experience in budgeting, inventory and service management, risk analysis
- Demonstrated strong understanding of end-to-end processes (Supply to Customer) and associated analytics
- Successful track record of delivering business results as an outcome of cross functional collaboration
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint applications
- Ability to work in a matrix environment where priorities change rapidly and tight deadlines exist
- Ability to influence across various levels of organization
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working with demand planning systems and processes compliant with Corporate policies
- Solid understanding of the full demand planning life cycle
- Experience with statistical forecasting and market intelligence analysis
What's in it for you Annual base salary for new hires in this position ranges:
$124, 100.00 - $175, 200.00
This takes into account a number of factors including work location, the candidate's skills, experience, education level & other job-related factors.
