What you will do The Associate Director, Medical Affairs, Skin Health & Beauty is responsible for medical affairs responsibility for the Kenvue's Skin Health & Beauty portfolio. This individual will bring diligent experience, medical/clinical thought leadership, medical/health expertise, health insights, digital/data science competencies, creative strategic foresight and strong influencing skills to lead without authority. This individual will apply their medical & scientific expertise to guide and inform R& D leaders as well as other medical, scientific, claims, scientific engagement, pre-clinical, and business leaders.
Key Responsibilities: - Help develop and implement strategic medical plans to advance the medical affairs division, ensuring alignment with company goals and brand objectives
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Commercial, Regulatory, Safety, Translational/Clinical Science, Public Affairs & Clinical Operations to help shape product and claims development and launch initiatives, leveraging expertise in skin health and beauty
- Participate in strategic organization of Skin Health Publication, Scientific Communication, and Claims Development strategies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to help execute strategic medical brand planning
- Work closely with managers to organize and execute cross-functional medical affairs deliverables which includes but is not limited to: strategy sessions, scientific output, advisory boards, R& D input, safety input, and/or marketing input
- Contribute to scientific publications and presentations to showcase expertise in the field
- Maintain accurate records of project information and ensure proper retention of records and raw data
- Provide medical review for promotional review content as required, and be involved in medical writing support for company core data sheets, drug safety analyses, and publications
- Additional responsibilities for products may include aiding with a wide range of Regulatory classifications (New Drug Applications (NDAs), Monograph Drugs, Medical Devices and combination products).
- This individual may serve as a medical monitor and or study director to clinical studies/consumer research studies
- Stay updated on the latest industry trends and advancements in medical affairs related to skin health and beauty, incorporating new insights into research and development projects Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth
What we are looking forRequired Qualifications
- US-based medical leader (MD/DO or equivalent) or FMCG (Foreign Medical College Graduates; MD/DO or equivalent)
- Dermatology experience is highly preferred
- Minimum 5-7 years of proven experience in medical affairs (Rx, OTC or Cosmetics), and/or clinical research and clinical development
- Strong communication skills and interpersonal skills
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and present scientific findings
- Proven ability to think strategically and drive results
- Experience in mentoring and developing team members is a plus
Desired Qualifications
- Strong understanding of medical affairs program management and strategic initiatives
- Experience in leading cross-functional teams and collaboration
- Highly organized and efficient
- Proven track record of contributing to R& D projects, advisory boards, scientific engagement and presentations

What's in it for you Annual base salary for new hires in this position ranges:
$197, 200.00 - $278, 400.00
This takes into account a number of factors including work location, the candidate's skills, experience, education level & other job-related factors.
