Description:

The J.P. Morgan Private Bank Product Team provides the strategic direction and vision for a product, product line, and/or product portfolio.

As a Senior Product Associate in the U.S. Private Bank Product team, you will leverage your expertise in product development to help promote the Client Information Product - Workflows and Experiences product. You will collaborate with Product Managers, Client Service Associates, various front office and operations teams to deliver a seamless and integrated approach to the Private Bank client online experience. This will entail working in a complex team-oriented environment in which you will be responsible for innovating and improving upon product concepts through the synthesis of user research, client feedback, and competitive dynamics.

Job responsibilities
  • Support the collection of information (e.g., user research, journey mapping, market analysis) to inform strategy, product roadmap, and provide insight on potential products and product features
  • Analyze, track, and evaluate product metrics and quality targets across the product development life cycle
  • Write requirements, epics, and user stories to drive product development
  • Create and simulate business process management diagrams in Signavio
  • Use Decision Model Notation to support decision management and business rules
  • Support testing cycles (UAT, regression, system, production checkout coordination/involvement)

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • 4+ years of experience in a product management, business analysis, engineering, or equivalent expertise
  • Proficiency with the product development life cycle
  • Experience in product lifecycle activities including discovery, requirements definition, and execution
  • Ability to communicate effectively (written and verbal)

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • 4 year college degree or equivalent financial services/banking industry experience preferred
  • Experience with Business Process and Decision Modeling
  • Familiar with database technologies and data governance, SQL, APIs
  • Experience with Atlassian agile planning and reporting tools (Jira, Confluence, Planner, Portfolio, Align, etc.)
  • Work experience in the wealth management or financial services industries
