Description:

Join our dynamic software vendor management team and contribute to the success of our technology organization, impacting the core of our business services.

As a Technology Support Lead at J.P. Morgan Chase within Corporate Vendor Management, you will play a pivotal role in the software asset management process. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with product owners and sourcing teams on software engagements and transactions. In this role you will regularly provide demand planning and forecasting, vendor relationship management, risk management, and contract structuring. In addition, you will engage with multiple businesses, product lines, and a variety of end users, contributing to a diverse and dynamic work environment.

Job Responsibilities
  • Manages large, enterprise-wide software contracts in partnership with Product Owners, Technology, Global Sourcing, Finance and Business Management
  • Interfaces with Corporate and Technology finance teams to align and allocate product expense
  • Partners with our internal software compliance team to identify software deployments across multiple environments in support of cost allocations
  • Represents software cost allocations to both product lines and various businesses
  • Manages software invoice processing by coordinating transactions with third party software providers, Enterprise Software Management, sourcing, and technology
  • Produces product reporting including financials, entitlements, and deployments to highlight changes in unit pricing
  • Produces software contract abstractions for inclusion into an internal contract repository
  • Provides continuous improvement and automation of processes and procedures to increase efficiency

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • 5+ years of experience or equivalent expertise troubleshooting, resolving, and maintaining information technology services
  • Responsible for overseeing large enterprise-wide software contracts
  • Familiar with negotiating software contract terms with vendors to drive business value and mitigate both financial and operational risk
  • Partner with Technology, Legal, and Procurement in order to define optimum terms and conditions
  • Work with software licensing experts to structure deals for beneficial outcomes
  • Contribute to vendor lifecycle relationship management including resolving issues and driving overall relationship improvements
  • Proficient in structuring contracts for large, global organizations
  • Responsible for partnering with product owners to collect demand and create financial forecasting for enterprise software contracts
  • Experience with vendor invoice processing and payment
  • Responsible for Third Party Oversight of vendor engagements


Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Working knowledge of extended support and software maintenance contracts
  • Experience with software licensing rules, metrics, definitions and how they relate to usage inventory data
  • Knowledge and familiarity with SaaS contracts and licensing
