As a Lead Solutions Analyst in Corporate Technology, you will play a central role in driving the success of our technical program delivery. Your deep understanding of applications, platforms, and products will position you as a key bridge between product owners, business, operations, and software developers. Utilizing advanced analytical reasoning and technical fluency, you will translate complex business requirements into well-structured and technically feasible solutions. You will make data-informed decisions and provide strategic insights to support key business initiatives. As a technical subject matter expert, you'll navigate ambiguity, manage change effectively, and communicate compellingly with diverse stakeholder audiences to ensure the highest quality and professionalism in service delivery.
Job responsibilities- Collaborate across numerous stakeholders and lines of business to capture Current State Business Processes, identify pain points, and define Target State Business Processes along with associated system features to achieve business objectives.
- Build relationships, challenge current thinking, and partner with stakeholders (at all levels) to define strategic solutions that addresses the underlying business problem - utilize knowledge acquired to influence outcomes
- Lead process workshops / brainstorming sessions with senior stakeholders and prepare associated materials (e.g., business process flows, solution proposal slides with pros/cons) that will be used to facilitate these sessions
- Leverage any and all inputs (e.g., existing documentation, working group user inputs, 1: 1 meetings) to independently assess and document business processes using BPMN
- Acquire knowledge of the Operational Risk & Control Management domain eco-system and learn the capabilities of the target state technology stack - align target state business processes and system features to the target state architecture
- Learn and apply Domain Driven Design (DDD) Strategic and Tactical modeling concepts to overall solution design.
- Contribute to developing and documenting program and capability roadmaps
- Assist with planning, facilitating effort estimation, monitoring program progress, and proactively identifying dependencies and potential risks/issues along with suggested mitigation plans. Also, complete status reports and facilitate status and stakeholder checkpoint meetings.
- Participate in Agile / Scrum ceremonies and capture / track work using Jira
- Contribute to system testing and validation of implemented solutions. Ensure that delivered solutions meet the specified requirements and are of high quality.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills- 5+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in solutions analysis, technical program delivery, or a related field
- Proficiency in current state and target state business process modeling
- Experience with Business Process Management Notation (BPMN). BPM tool(s) experience
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
- Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to develop high quality documents and presentations for multiple audiences
- Self-motivated team player. Must possess ability to research and resolve issues independently while working across teams to acquire needed information
- Ability to organize/manage multiple priorities and projects coupled with the flexibility to adapt to changes
- Experience performing or assisting with Project Management - includes planning, managing dependencies, monitoring progress, proactively addressing risks/issues, completing status reports, etc.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills- Writing Epics and User Stories in an Agile environment
- Domain-Driven Design (DDD) experience is a plus
- Compliance, Operational Risk, or Controls Management experience within a Financial Institution is a plus
- Prior consulting experience and knowledge of transformation approaches (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean) is a plus
