As a Product Marketing Strategy Lead within Payments, you will be responsible for developing and executing cross-functional marketing strategies that drive awareness, pipeline, and revenue for our payment solutions. You will work closely with product, commercialization, our centers of excellence, sales, and technology teams to articulate our value proposition, differentiate our offerings in the market, and deliver compelling messages to target audiences.
Job Responsibilities - Lead the development and execution of Commerce cross-functional marketing strategies including the annual GTM calendar for key verticals and segments
- Create compelling messaging, content pillars, and themes that resonate with target segments and positions J.P. Morgan well against the competitive set
- Serve as a key strategic partner to the department head, contributing to overall marketing strategy, thought leadership, and planning
- Collaborate with product teams to ensure product launches, pricing bundles, and solutions are supported with effective marketing
- Partner with commercialization and sales enablement to equip our teams with tools and resources to effectively communicate our value proposition
- Monitor payments industry trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for thought leadership initiatives and to refine our value proposition
- Lead strategy for key segment content strategy including insights, customer stories, event activation, case studies, and sales materials
- Partner with our Center of Excellence to plan and execute marketing campaigns across digital and traditional channels
- Build and maintain strong relationships with cross-functional stakeholders, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented environment.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills- 10+ years of product marketing experience, with at least 3 years in payments, fintech, or financial services
Proven track record developing successful go-to-market strategies for B2B products - Excellent communication skills with ability to translate complex technical concepts into customer-centric benefits.
- Bachelor's degree required
- Strong analytical skills with experience using data to inform marketing decisions
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills- Business and developer-focused products to Enterprise and Commercial segments
- MBA or advanced degree
- Marketing automation platforms, AI, and CRM system
- Familiarity with agile marketing methodologies
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements in financial services
- Understanding of merchant acquisition strategies and economics
