We are looking for a growth-minded Business Manager (BM) as an Associate to join our Business Management team supporting the Liquidity and Account Solutions (L& AS) business. The team collaborates closely with regional Business Managers (BMs) in Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA), Asia-Pacific (APAC), and Latin America (LATAM), driving business initiatives and presenting financial information to business leads. The Commercial & Investment Bank is a global leader across Investment Banking, Payments, Markets, and Securities Services, trusted by the world's most important corporations, governments, and institutions. Liquidity & Account Solutions offers a broad range of solutions for clients to manage their global operating liquidity.
As an Associate on the Payments Business Management team within the Liquidity and Account Solutions unit, you will work with business leads and be responsible for explaining financial performance and drivers of revenue and expenses for their respective products and advise on how best to execute on strategic and tactical goals. You will draw conclusions from information provided by Finance and challenge the findings. You will use PowerPoint to craft succinct narratives that connect numerical information with business-driven activity. You will need strong quantitative skills, as well as the ability to story-tell with data. Communicating clearly with numerical data is essential. You should be comfortable interacting and influencing across a diverse slate of stakeholders: diverse in both seniority and geographic location.
Job Responsibilities :
- Act as a key point of contact for front office and support functions to help achieve business objectives. Drive data-driven analysis to help facilitate decision making
- Support business heads through pipeline management, strategy development, financial analysis and expense management process
- Provide a high level of responsiveness to executive ad-hoc requests related to project management, presentation development, and business analysis
- Organize complex information in a strategic and compelling way, demonstrating strong design acumen and expertise in Excel and PowerPoint techniques
- Maintain business Objectives and Key Results (OKR) metrics
- Create mock-ups quickly and iteratively for management presentations, reports, and dashboards
- Communicate effectively with key business partners to understand projects and drive next steps
- Manage and deliver key work streams/ tasks and supporting audit, regulatory and compliance deliverables
- Coordinate team activities and prepare materials for town halls, employee recognition, and strategy working sessions
- Participate in collaborative initiatives with team members and global managers, looking for ways to continually simplify, improve, and add value to existing business processes
- Manage other general issues related to real estate, staffing, corporate requests
Required Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities: - Bachelor's degree and experience in a strategic or similar role
- Minimum 4 years of experience within Financial Services
- Strong organizational and time management skills; flexibility, ability to prioritize requests and multi-task
- Comfortable in a fast-paced environment that requires multi-tasking
- Strong analytical and numeric skills, excellent attention to detail
- Strong communication, influencing and relationship building skills; team player
- Ability to work well individually and partner effectively
- Pro-active and problem-solving mind-set with ability to identify, clearly present and implement solutions
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, ability to work cross-functionally with multiple competing priorities and deliverables
- Proficient in distilling data and information into clear, conclusive presentations
Preferred Qualifications, Skills, and Capabilities: - Preferably with experience in Payments
- Advanced proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint.
- Understanding of liquidity products
- Enthusiastic, self-motivated and effective under pressure
