The Strategic Growth Office is a fast-growing global team within J.P. Morgan's Corporate Sector. This cross-functional team operates like a start-up dedicated to building innovative and high-impact solutions for our partners across the bank. We are currently developing an exciting new platform for J.P. Morgan wealth management clients to explore alternative investment opportunities. Our goal is to significantly expand access to these diversifying and profitable asset classes by introducing a centralized "deal showroom" to eligible clients.
As a platform product manager on our team, you will need to demonstrate the curiosity, passion, and tenacity required to build a start-up and solve complex problems for one of the largest wealth managers in the world. Job Responsibilities: - Help define and manage the roadmap for platform technology, such as identity and access management, business intelligence, platform infrastructure, and developer experience
- Contribute to the technical vision and strategy for the platform by identifying and implementing solutions tailored to our platform strategy
- Partner with business and technology partners across the firm to integrate with cross-functional platform technology
- Work closely with platform software developers to design efficient and scalable solutions
- Use data to inform product development to offer a richer and more personalized client experience
- Show your entrepreneurial spirit & ability to wear many hats with minimal direction
Required Qualifi
cations, Capabilities, and Skills: - Product Management Basics: Demonstrated understanding of product management and building software products from conception to launch through all stages of the product lifecycle, including roadmap planning, prioritization, and execution
- Technical Knowledge and Interest: Familiarity with technical concepts, data models, and a strong passion for technical product development
- Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements and priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Collaboration: Track record of working collaboratively with engineering teams, stakeholders, and other departments to achieve project goals
- User Focus: Experience partnering with users to deeply understand their needs and pain points, and the ability to translate these into product features and improvements
- Communication: Excellent oral and written communication skills; Ability to produce clear documentation for product, engineering, and operations audiences
- Culture: Open and transparent working style, with the ability to communicate up and down
- Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy and quality in technical documentation and project execution
