As a Product Director in Digital Channels & Connectivity, you lead innovation through the development of products and features that delight customers. In this role, you are pivotal in innovating new product offerings and leading the end-to-end product life cycle. Acting as the voice of the customer, you develop profitable products that deliver value. With a deep understanding of product launches, you guide successful introductions, gather essential feedback, and ensure exceptional client experiences. Committed to scalability, resiliency, and stability, you collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products that exceed expectations.

Job responsibilities

  • Oversees the product roadmap, vision, development, execution, risk management, and business growth targets
  • Leads the entire product life cycle through planning, execution, and future development by continuously adapting, developing new products and methodologies, managing risks, and achieving business targets like cost, features, reusability, and reliability to support growth
  • Owns product performance and is accountable for investing in enhancements to achieve business objectives
  • Drive product launches, gather feedback, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to create scalable, resilient solutions; challenge traditional approaches and remove barriers to foster a culture of continuous innovation
  • Monitors market trends, conducts competitive analysis, and identifies opportunities for product differentiation
  • Enhance payment capabilities to support full ISO field sets and data localization, meeting regional and industry regulations
  • Develop and enhance services such as Payment & Template Workflow, File Import & Workflow, User Notification & Alerting, and Payment Business Monitoring
  • Ensure the platform is powered by a best-in-class technical infrastructure that is available 24/7, scalable, observable, and hybrid cloud-capable
  • Coaches and mentors the product team on best practices, such as solution generation, market research, storyboarding, mind-mapping, prototyping methods, product adoption strategies, and product delivery, enabling them to effectively deliver on objectives
  • Effectively manage stakeholder relationships and balance competing priorities from partner organizations and regions
  • Champion the customer voice, developing profitable products and delivering exceptional client experiences


Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • 8+ years of experience or equivalent expertise delivering products, projects, or technology applications
  • Extensive knowledge of the product development life cycle, technical design, and data analytics
  • Proven ability to influence the adoption of key product life cycle activities including discovery, ideation, strategic development, requirements definition, and value management
  • Experience with cloud-based technologies and service oriented architecture
  • Exceptional leadership skills to drive change within organizations, manage stakeholders across multiple functions, and lead cross-functional teams to drive products from conception to launch
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of conveying complex concepts clearly and persuasively across different audiences
  • Expert in ISO formats who can skillfully navigate schema definitions and market practices, minimizing client challenges while leading modernization efforts and maintaining H2H Payment Client Guides
  • Experience in CGI Market Practice, SWIFT, and other industry groups
  • Experience in cash management, particularly in global transaction initiation across various payment methods, file formats, clearing systems, and treasury applications.
  • Experience with XML and standard financial message formats such as ISO 20022, ANSI X12, EDIFACT, NACHA, Reporting - BAI2, MT940.
  • Understanding of file transmission protocols and encryption
