As a Data Risk Metrics Associate at JPMorgan Chase within the Chief Data & Analytics team, you serve as a member of an agile team to design and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. You are responsible for carrying out critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of the firm's business objectives.

As a Data Risk Metrics Associate in the Chief Data & Analytics team, you will lead business and operations analytics support for FDRM production of metrics. You will assist Operations Lead and Product Managers with analytical requests and ad-hoc reporting, conduct deep dive analysis into source data for data risk insights, and identify trends and generate ideas for new policies and best practices through analytics. You will serve as a main contact for analytics inquiries from stakeholders.

Job responsibilities
  • Lead business and operations analytics support for FDRM production of metrics.
  • Assist Operations Lead and Product Managers with analytical requests and ad-hoc reporting.
  • Conduct deep dive analysis into source data for data risk insights.
  • Identify trends and generate ideas for new policies and best practices through analytics.
  • Serve as a main contact for analytics inquiries from stakeholders.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Experience in data management focusing on data risk and governance.
  • Proficiency in key automation tools/languages such as SQL, JavaScript, Python, Alteryx, Tableau, and advanced Excel or other tools for solving operational challenges.
  • Strong knowledge of databases.
  • Ability to quickly understand and manipulate unfamiliar data environments and conduct end-user requirements analysis.
  • Strong communication skills with teams, practitioners, and leaders, both internally and externally.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Proficient in Tools/Frameworks such as GitHub, REST APIs, React, OpenAI
  • Familiarity with Qlik and advanced analytics methods.
  • Experiences with best practices to manage, create, and lead ways of working.
