Job Description:

Johnson & Johnson is recruiting for a Director, Strategy & Operations to support Global Health Equity. The position is in New Brunswick, NJ.

The Global Health Equity team advances equitable access to quality care through championing nurses and community health workers, enabling community-centered and culturally conscious care, and supporting access to our medicines and technologies.

Position Summary

The Global Health Equity (GHE) team advances equitable access to quality care through championing nurses and community health workers, enabling community-centered and culturally conscious care, and supporting access to our medicines and technologies.

The Director, Strategy & Operations will assist in shaping and leading the execution of GHE strategies to maximize impact in resource limited settings. This role is responsible for providing program leadership of key initiatives, developing processes and delivering operational excellence in partnership with functions within GCA and GHE. This leader will report to Head Strategy & Operations, GHE.

Strategy & Program Leadership:

  • Assists in shaping the GHE Strategy, serving as a strategic partner and trusted advisor to GHE stakeholders.

  • Co-lead the strategic and business planning processes along with the execution of key initiatives, often in partnership with internal stakeholders.

Operations:

  • Support overall governance for GHE org through strong collaboration / partnership with LT to drive org-wide accountability, empower decision-making, support risk escalation / mitigation and transparency against G& Os.

  • Translate strategies into operational/implementation plans with aligned objectives, measures, and initiatives across critical dimensions of the business.

  • Ensure operational excellence through the creation and maintenance of rigorous processes and ways of working.

  • Responsible for consolidating and reporting organizational metrics in partnership with GCA, GHE and other cross-functional J& J stakeholders

  • Develop, deliver and monitor change management efforts surrounding the new GHE operating model to ensure organizational health.

  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement by creating and sharing best practices, guidelines etc

Other Duties:

  • Assist in shaping and implementing the GHE culture strategy and tactics to increase employee engagement and exposure.

  • Recruit, develop and retain the Strategy & Operations senior manager.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 10 years related industry experience

  • 5+ years of people management experience

  • MBA/Masters in related discipline

  • Strong oral and written communication skills

  • Ability to travel – 30% (domestic and international)

  • Commercial experience preferred

The anticipated base pay range for this position is:

146, 000 - 251, 850

Additional Description for Pay Transparency:

The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis. Employees and/or eligible dependents may be eligible to participate in the following Company sponsored employee benefit programs: medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short- and long-term disability, business accident insurance, and group legal insurance.
