The role of Senior Regional Business Analyst, is responsible for generating, integrating, and translating insights and analytics into growth opportunities that shape decisions and drive business questions and affect the fields execution for each region. This position will report directly to the National Sales Director (NSD) and support two Regional Business Directors (RBDs) and their regions. This position will also work closely with the CIS team to ensure consistency in data sources and reporting of trends and insights at the national level. This position plays a role in ensuring the RBD and the District Managers within the region have the resources to develop and evaluate new and existing business strategies and tactics.

Primary areas of focus for this role include but are not limited to the following:

  • Partner with Regional Business Directors to explore subnational market trends, identify customer insights, develop targeted business solutions, and develop tactical direction for the field
  • Identify and compile business, customer, financial metrics, and analytics to identify market trends and opportunities for growth within the region
  • Partner closely with the CIS team to access additional data and integrate other relevant national and/or brand analytics and insights
  • Leverage a diverse set of findings to assess implications and inform decision making
  • Provide the Regional Business Directors the information and aid in the creation of strategic action plans based on insights from business, financial metrics, and analytics
  • Generate insights and analytics to aid in the development of a fully aligned and comprehensive annual regional business plan
  • Develop key business questions and to frame business problems into analytic plans. He/she will routinely provide insights that drive sales strategies for their respective regions.
  • Champion the development and implementation of analytics approaches and methods that are innovative and examples of best practices.
  • The ability to demonstrate leadership courage to set boundaries and ensure time is spent on the most critical/ high value projects is critical.
  • Serve as the point person for gathering regional insights and analytics that culminates in business impact.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of a bachelor’s degree is required.
  • 3 or more years in pharmaceutical sales experience required.
  • This position will work remotely (residing within the Northeast or Southeast region) and may require up to 30% travel.

Preferred:

  • Market research/ analytics and/or marketing experience is preferred.
  • The selected candidate must possess strong analytical and strategic thinking and planning abilities, must work well in a matrix environment without direct line authority be able to influence thinking amongst senior leaders and possess excellent communication skills.
  • The selected candidate must be able to demonstrate commercial capabilities and success in prior commercial roles.
  • The selected candidate must demonstrate capabilities and traits for career path versatility to progress to other key roles.

#Li-Hybrid

The base pay range for this position is $88, 000 to $130, 000. The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis. Employees may be eligible to participate in Company employee benefit programs such as health insurance, savings plan, pension plan, disability plan, vacation pay, sick time, holiday pay, and work, personal and family time off in accordance with the terms of the applicable plans.
