Job Description:

Duties & Responsibilities

Under and in accordance with all applicable federal, state and local laws/regulations and Corporate Johnson & Johnson, procedures and guidelines, this position:

  • Responsible to develop and implement an efficient, robust and compliant end-to-end supply chain for new products introductions, lifecycle management and/or network optimization projects.

  • Represent the E2E supply chain within the new product introduction process as of start of full development, as the key contact to coordinate and communicate global supply chain design and launch activities with global / regional commercial organization, regulatory departments and manufacturing plants.

  • Develop launch plans and scenarios with key stakeholders and prepare for operational launch readiness. Define and implement an integrated, documented process with performance metrics to assess Supply Chain performance and supplement the Operations Integrations measurements.

  • Provide strong connectivity with existing supply chain processes – GOALS, S& OP, Inventory Management, interdependent projects.

  • Responsible for managing and meeting all supply chain deliverables on assigned projects, outlined by project CAR and / or final project objectives and within expected timelines.

  • Utilize Global Supply Chain Projects Planning processes to enact product changes and changes to supply chain flows. These projects will be focused to exploit investments in APS and ERP

  • This role will plan for seamless transitions from the ‘as is’ configuration to the ‘to be’ state. Work in this area could incorporate six sigma, project management excellence and LEAN principles.

  • Significantly align with Make, Supply Planning / Purchasing to ensure capacity is appropriately utilized for planning and scheduling functions.

  • Significantly align with all business partners (Finance, Deliver, Make, External Operations, Marketing, R& D, Procurement, etc.) to ensure alignment and agreement on upcoming changes.

  • Drive Scenario Planning process, with capacity bottleneck identification where appropriate. Ensure appropriate available capacities to meet timelines and volume requirements.

  • Identify and pro-actively mitigate risks throughout the entire supply chain.

  • Drive improvements in Global Supply Chain Projects processes.

  • Provide input for Global Supply Chain strategy across projects and platforms.

  • Work directly with key business partners to ensure strong working relationships and processes, resulting in achievement of Operations objectives.

  • Ensure activities performed are aligned with the Ethicon Quality System.

  • Support demand, supply and inventory strategies to build robust, efficient and compliant end-to end supply chains for new products.

  • Develop an organization capable to meet a multifaceted business environment, recruit and maintain high performing associates.

  • Responsible for leading and meeting all supply chain results on assigned projects focused around Labeling initiatives, Product Conversions, Supply Chain Business Process and System improvements.

  • Provide mentorship from Supply Chain side to business partners (eg Tax, Finance) to ensure the impact on supply chain flows and processes is considered.

  • Mentor and support Supply Chain Project Specialists / Supply Chain Project Leaders. Interview, recruit, onboard and develop talent for the department. For assigned direct reports, drive the 5 conversations, provide frequent feedback, identify developmental goals and engage in succession planning conversations.

  • Coordinate and act as a program manager for the various projects assigned to the European SC PLAN Projects Team.

  • Proxy & deputy and representative for the SC Projects team.

  • Align on project prioritization and resource assignment to the various projects that are impacting the supply chain

  • Responsible for communicating business related issues or opportunities to next management level.

  • Responsible for ensuring that subordinates follow all Company guidelines related to Health, Safety and Environmental practices and that all resources needed to do so are available and in good condition, if applicable

  • Responsible for ensuring personal and Company compliance with all Federal, State, local and Company regulations, policies, and procedures

  • Performs other duties assigned as needed.

Experience & Education

  • Bachelor or Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Logistics or Engineering.

  • 10 to 12 years of experience in Supply Chain Management, Planning / Logistics, Industrial Engineering or Finance; preferably in a multinational company.

  • Strong overall process knowledge both from operational as well as system perspective.

  • Demonstrated Project Management experience preferred.

  • LEAN material flow, planning & scheduling knowledge, a plus.

  • Process Excellence certification or proven working knowledge, a plus.

  • Knowledge and proficiency of ERP and APS planning tools preferred.

  • Strong analytical skills, with capability to query systems to extract sets of data for analysis.

  • Demonstrated ability to zoom-in / zoom-out when and where required.

  • Sense of urgency and ability to prioritize tasks.

  • Advanced Excel knowledge, basic Access.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage complexity.

  • Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills.

  • Demonstrated strong leadership and management skills and an understanding of business beyond core functional expertise.

  • Ability to work within a project methodological context.

  • Ability to work across multiple functional organizations and levels in a multicultural and global / matrix environment.

  • Fluency in English is required, other languages are a plus.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is:

Total Base Pay Range 120.000, 00 - 240.000, 00 USD Annual

Additional Description for Pay Transparency:

The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis. Employees and/or eligible dependents may be eligible to participate in the following Company sponsored employee benefit programs: medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short- and long-term disability, business accident insurance, and group legal insurance.
