Johnson & Johnson's MedTech Source Finance Organization is recruiting for a Senior Financial Analyst to provide FP& A and Consolidation expertise and leadership. This role has a preferred location in Irvine, CA but consideration will be granted to other J& J sites in West Chester, PA; Raritan, NJ. The position will report to the MedTech Source Global Finance Manager.

The MedTech Supply Chain Source team is an organization with global impact, supporting MedTech Third Party Manufacturing and Procurement organizations to deliver high quality, reliable and cost competitive products. This particular role on the J& J Medical Devices Source Finance team handles annual spend of > $1.2B across a sophisticated network of materials & suppliers for our Cardiovascular Specialty Solutions businesses (BWI, Mentor, Cerenovous). While this role will primarily focus on supporting direct procurement for these franchises, it also provides the opportunity to play a meaningful role in driving standardization of activities and improvement in execution across JJMD and Source Finance on a cross-sector perspective while driving meaningful impacts for our partners.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide strong financial leadership and business partner support to CSS Procurement and Supply Chain teams to influence business decisions
  • Provide strategic and financial support on cases for key initiatives, build and present financial models/scenarios to Senior Management
  • Forecast, track, and analyze PPV, including CIPs and market-driven direct material cost changes, as well as Source-driven project and functional spend
  • Work continuously across the Source and Supply Chain Finance teams to reduce complexity, duplication, standardize and harmonize activities and accounting treatments, to improve and automate processes
  • Proactive engagement in the End-to-End Gross Profit Orchestration and SigniFi journeys within Finance
  • Ensure compliance with respect to Purchase Price Variance (PPV), Cost Improvement Projects (CIPs), Capital Construction-in-Process (CIP), and general accounting and business policies & procedures
  • Support annual standard cost development with business partners; provide input and influence into sourcing and costing of materials for innovative new product launches

  • A minimum of a Bachelor's degree is required, preferably with a major in Accounting or Finance. A CPA, CMA, or MBA are also preferred.
  • A minimum of three years finance or related business experience is required.
  • Supply Chain experience preferred.
  • Must possess the ability to partner with people at all levels of the organization and have strong communication, interpersonal and influencing skills.
  • The ability to maintain, improve and build efficient sound business processes is required.
  • This position requires a highly motivated individual with strong analytical skills, intellectual curiosity, and proven leadership skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (including Excel & PowerPoint) is required
  • Experience in SAP, TM 1 and JDE is preferred.
  • The candidate must be comfortable with ambiguity and have experience building and implementing financially viable business models.
  • The candidates must have good communication and negotiation skills, be able to work in a team environment, and be passionate about meeting stretch objectives.
  • This position will be located in Irvine, CA West Chester, PA; Raritan, NJ, and may require up to 10% travel

The base pay range for this position is $76, 000 - $121, 900 USD

The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation's performance over a calendar/ performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company's discretion on an individual basis.
