The Senior Director, Incentive Compensation is a strategic leadership role responsible for designing, implementing and managing comprehensive compensation and rewards programming that drives competitiveness, business performance, attracts key talent and aligns employee behaviors with Innovative Medicine organizational objectives. This opportunity can be located in Horsham, PA or Titusville, NJ.

Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership & Program Design

  • Develop and execute enterprise-wide incentive compensation strategy aligned with business objectives and growth targets.

  • Design competitive short-term and long-term incentive programs for sales teams, and key employee populations.

  • Lead annual compensation planning cycles, including market benchmarking, budget development, and program modifications.

  • Partner with senior leadership to establish performance metrics and payout structures that drive desired business outcomes.

Analytics & Market Intelligence

  • Conduct comprehensive market analysis and competitive benchmarking to ensure programs remain competitive.

  • Develop sophisticated financial models to assess program costs, ROI, and business impact.

  • Analyze payout trends, participation rates, and program effectiveness to optimize design and delivery.

  • Prepare executive-level presentations and recommendations for Senior leadership and NALT review.

  • Stakeholder Management & Collaboration

  • Serve as primary advisor to senior leaders on all incentive compensation matters.

  • Collaborate with Finance, Legal, HR Business Partners, HCC and Tax teams on program implementation. Partner with Sales Operations to design and optimize sales compensation plans.

Compliance & Governance

  • Ensure all incentive programs comply with regulatory requirements, accounting standards, and internal policies

  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of program designs, rationale, and administrative procedures.

  • Support external audits and regulatory reviews related to compensation programs.
  • Stay current on evolving compensation regulations and best practices.

Team Leadership & Development

  • Lead and develop a team of compensation professionals and analysts.

  • Mentor team members on technical expertise and professional development.

  • Foster a culture of analytical rigor, innovation, and continuous improvement.

  • Manage vendor relationships with compensation consultants and technology providers.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 15 years experience
  • Bachelor's Degree required: Deep knowledge of pharmaceutical industry compensation landscape
  • Advanced excel and presentation skills and high level of proficiency with compensation systems

  • Excellent communication skills (Written and verbal)

  • Exceptional analytical skills and problem solving abilities

  • Travel: 30% domestic

The anticipated base pay range for this position is: $173k-$299.
