Job Description:

We are searching for the best talent for Opcenter MSP Support Team Lead.

This is a remote role available to candidates in the US.

We are seeking an experienced team leader to coordinate and lead our multinational technical resources for the MedTech Opcenter Manufacturing Systems Platform (MSP) program on the Siemens Opcenter platform. This strategic role involves ensuring high system availability, performance, and reliability in the Siemens Opcenter and Camstar applications across the globally located manufacturing sites. The team leader will manage incident responses, system maintenance, and critical downtime events, while driving continuous improvement in monitoring, support processes, and system resilience. You will be responsible for:

Team Leadership & Coordination

  • Lead and mentor a global team of support engineers.
  • Coordinate cross-functional efforts during critical downtime events and system escalations.

Incident & Event Management

  • Oversee the lifecycle of incident tickets, ensuring timely resolution and root cause analysis.
  • Manage routine system maintenance events and ensure minimal disruption to operations.
  • Lead response efforts for critical system outages and downtime events.

Monitoring & Proactive Support

  • Develop, implement, and maintain system monitoring tools and dashboards.
  • Establish proactive alerting mechanisms to detect and prevent potential issues.
  • Analyze system performance data to identify trends and areas for improvement.

Process Improvement & Reliability Engineering

  • Continuously improve support processes to reduce system downtime and increase performance.
  • Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to implement reliability best practices.
  • Drive automation and standardization across support workflows.
  • Ensure IT compliance (WICO, HIPAA, GXP, 21 CFR Part 11, Records Management, SOX, SDLC, CSV) requirements in all activities and solutions.

Stakeholder Communication

  • Provide regular updates to leadership and stakeholders on system health and incident status.
  • Document and communicate lessons learned from major incidents and outages.

Qualifications / Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in reliability engineering, system support, or IT operations in Supply Chain/Manufacturing Systems required.
  • Experience with MES platforms, preferably Siemens Opcenter.
  • Strong understanding of incident management, monitoring tools (e.g., AppDynamics, Service Now, Grafana, Prometheus), and ITIL practices.
  • Proven ability to lead teams and manage complex technical issues under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in a matrixed environment and leading support teams is required.
  • Experience in GxP systems, Computer System Validation and support of FDA regulated systems is required.
  • Strong interpersonal skills required.
  • Excellent communication, networking, and influencing skills including the ability to manage across all management and organizational levels.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is:

$91, 000 to $147, 200

Additional Description for Pay Transparency:

The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis.
