Overview:

Join a highly engaged, motivated, and collaborative team to drive growth in key surgical specialties within the J& J MedTech Wound Closure & Biosurgery portfolio. The Marketing Manager Specialty, GSM Wound Closure & Biosurgery, will be responsible for leading projects and end-to-end specialty strategy including partnering to develop insights for the brands, as well as project execution and specialty framework integration. This individual will also transform clinical insights into actionable strategies, lead key specialty projects, and will use Wound Closure & Biosurgery growth strategies to actively foster results and ensure achievement of business plans.

Responsibilities:

  • Support strategic planning and execution for emerging surgical specialties, contributing to playbooks, insight generation, engagement plans, and execution

  • Help translate surgeon feedback and operating room observations into clear customer needs and differentiated value propositions

  • Assist with specialty storytelling frameworks that align with strategy and brand positioning, ensuring global execution excellence

  • Lead large, complex projects end-to-end, from insight gathering through execution and measurement, with accountability for timelines, budgets, and impact

  • Collaborate with internal partners (Brand, Medical, Regional Teams, Sales, R& D, Comm Education partners where applicable) to support strategy implementation and ensure aligned execution

  • Contribute to cross-functional partner integration, advisory board planning, and congress deliverables that advance specialty strategy and surgeon engagement

Qualifications:

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • 5+ years of progressive experience in healthcare sales, marketing, or strategy with a proven track record of execution and measurable results

  • Demonstrated ability to lead and own large-scale projects from concept through execution, with strong examples of delivering outcomes

  • Demonstrated creative thinking, curiosity, and ability to work cross-functionally with diverse partners

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously and influence across functions in a fast-paced environment

Preferred

  • An Advanced Degree (i.e., MBA, MS)

  • Experience in the healthcare industry and the Medical Device industry

  • Previous regional in-line marketing experience and/or Global marketing experience

  • Strong clinical comprehension and experience in surgical specialties, with the ability to translate complex clinical insights into marketing strategies

  • Experience in portfolio management, sales conversion or product lifecycle management

  • Demonstrated experience developing and using customer insights Challenger mindset

  • Proven ability to work in a Global organization with multi-disciplinary collaborators

The anticipated base pay range for this position is:

$100, 000 - $ 172, 500

Additional Description for Pay Transparency:

The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis.
