Job Description:

We are searching for the best talent for a Lead Analyst, Global Transparency Reporting - Americas to be located in Titusville, NJ; New Brunswick, NJ; West Chester, PA; or other J& J major locations in the US.

Purpose: This position requires a highly motivated individual with strong analytical skills, intellectual curiosity, and proven leadership skills. Demonstrated experience in prioritizing needs and implementing system or process enhancements is required. The ideal candidate will have the ability to successfully interact with all levels of management in a cross-functional and regional team environment and navigate a complex, matrixed environment. Candidate will also seek to add value to the organization through collaborative innovation, and self-identified process improvements. The successful candidate will have proven excellent technical skills, a strong work ethic, integrity, and a commitment to excellence.

You will be responsible for:

  • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) through proactive collaboration with HCC teams, other functional teams, and country stakeholders for accurate data gathering, analysis, reconciliation, and preparation of transparency and value-add reports.
  • Partner with HCC, Finance, Legal and other business partners to proactively respond to new legislation and make recommendations on how best to implement reporting requirements. Participate in industry updates to maintain awareness of reporting environment.
  • Responsible for requirements gathering through proactive collaboration with functional teams and country stakeholders to design process enhancements.
  • Develop and maintain consistent/standard work instructions applicable to the reporting preparation process.
  • Conduct detailed analyses of assigned data sets to identify trends and outliers requiring further review, while also identifying efficient methods for streamlining the review process.
  • Partner closely with technology teams supporting the data sets to focus on implementing enhancements to improve data capture and new reporting capabilities.
  • Participate in projects aimed at resolving complex reporting and process challenges, ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and quality of reports by leading the testing and supporting the implementation of system changes.
  • Demonstrate an Operational Excellence mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and learning to help drive improved data quality and ensure accurate data collection for transparency reporting.
  • Identify and leverage key intelligent automation capabilities to improve processes.
  • Other duties as assigned by HCC Global Operations management.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Minimum of 6 years of professional experience is required, preferably in pharmaceutical and/or medical device industries.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in HCC or a related compliance function (regulatory, quality, finance, etc.).
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills, along with a business-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to prioritize competing demands and implement system or process improvements.
  • Ability to seek out and identify multiple, varied sources of data, to consolidate them into meaningful quantitative analysis or reports.
  • Demonstrated experience with database and reporting tools is required.
  • Advanced Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) with advanced Excel skills.
  • Excellent English verbal and written communication skills, including formal presentation skills.
  • Experience in Open Payments Reporting/State Reporting preferred.
  • Professional certification, such as CCEP-I or from Seton Hall.
  • Experience in the pharmaceutical or medical device industry.
  • Experience designing and/or implementing new systems and tools.
  • Experience collaborating with internal stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to apply HCC fraud and abuse laws, financial practices, and company business and policies.
  • Experience in using Alteryx, Tableau, Qlik, and Totality systems and/or SharePoint.
  • Process excellence training/certification (Six Sigma, Green Belt).
  • Up to 5% domestic and/or international travel required.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is 91, 000 to 147, 200.

Additional Description for Pay Transparency:

The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis.
