Job Description:

Johnson & Johnson is currently recruiting for a Government Contracts Analyst located in Raritan, NJ!

Johnson & Johnson Health Care Systems Inc., provides account management and customer support services to key health care customers, including hospital systems and group purchasing organizations, leading health plans, pharmacy benefit managers, and government health care institutions. The company also provides contract management, logistics, customer service, and supply chain functions for the major Johnson & Johnson franchises.

The Government Contracts Analyst is responsible for the contract management and administration of J& J Operating Company Federal, State, & Local contracting needs. This includes, but is not limited to loading new contracts, performing maintenance to existing contracts, managing customer eligibility, and performing the calculation of Government payments as required by contract terms. The Analyst must be able to analyze large data sets, including utilization data provided by the Government, to determine discrepancies, perform root cause analysis, and provide recommended solutions. The Analyst serves as the Single Point of Contact in resolving all claims and discrepancies for Government contracts across the Pharmaceutical and MedTech sectors. The Analyst will participate in the development and maintenance of Process Narratives, Standard Operating Procedures, and Work Instructions related to Government Contract Services. These documents are used to guide the Analyst through assigned tasks and duties. The Analyst will participate and attend Bi-weekly conference calls in conjunction with the Government Contract Managers and Operating Company business partners. The Analyst must have proven ability to provide innovative solutions that support the development of analytical tools that assist with evaluating contracting opportunities, determining contract compliance, and measuring business results. The Analyst will be required to maintain pricing and contracting information infrastructure and databases necessary to develop contract, proposals, bid responses, etc. The Analyst evaluates contracting systems to determine any potential Government Compliance issues. The Analyst will maintain compliance to the Government Records Retention requirements outlined in the Government Compliance Guidance Documents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement contract actions within CORE and ICS Systems
  • Calculate and make payments to government agencies to align with the terms and conditions of Government Contracts
  • Provide support for chargeback inquiries
  • Review and update SOP/WI as it relates to job function
  • Partner with Offer Development team to understand strategies to ensure proper contract set-up
  • Perform peer validations on other team members work prior to contract activation

Qualifications

Education:

  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree is required.

Experience and Skills:

Required:

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently with appropriate balance, escalating any issues and challenges required
  • Proven ability to multi-task and meet timelines
  • Ability to review and analyze large data sets for discrepancies and provide innovative solutions for resolution
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications, including experience with collecting data, creating spreadsheets, review and analyzing executive summary of data, etc.

Preferred:

  • A minimum of 2 years of business experience
  • Experience in government contracting
  • Ability to prepare financial analyses to support the development of government contracts and proposals with direction
  • CORE, ICS, CCPS, CCRA, CMW, Cognos experience.

Other:

  • This position may require up to 10% of domestic and international travel

The anticipated base pay range for this position is:

$63, 000 to $102, 350

Additional Description for Pay Transparency:

The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis.
