We are searching for the best talent for a CAR-T Operations intern in Raritan, NJ.

The Operations Engineer Intern, CAR-T Warehousing & Logistics will apply technical skills to the warehouse and manufacturing environment by leveraging their proficiency in project management, data analytics, Lean Six Sigma, facility layout and design, and process optimization to both lead and support projects and strategic corporate initiatives. This role aides in determining the most efficient ways to utilize people, machines, materials, information, etc. to provide process improvements in the current and future CAR-T warehouse environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct data analysis for warehouse and logistics operations to identify trends and opportunities for improvement. Ensure accurate data entry and create visual reports to effectively communicate key performance indicators (KPIs) to leadership.
  • Collaborate with the warehouse and logistics operations team to support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying and implementing process enhancements that increase operational efficiency.
  • Support engineering projects and initiatives related to facility expansion and manufacturing capacity increases (capacity analysis, headcount forecasting, scheduling, data collection, etc.)
  • Organize and lead team-wide meetings with the warehouse and logistics operations team.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Currently pursuing a focused degree in an engineering/analytical field is required (e.g., Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Operations Research, or Computer Science), preferred

Experience and Skills:

Required:

  • Permanently authorized to work in the U.S., must not require sponsorship of an employment visa (e.g., H-1B or green card) at the time of application or in the future. Students currently on CPT, OPT, or STEM OPT usually requires future sponsorship for long term employment and do not meet the requirements for this program unless eligible for an alternative long-term status that does not require company sponsorship.
  • Experience using data access tools, building visualizations using large datasets and multiple data sources, and deriving insights from large data sets (e.g., PowerBI, Tableau, Power Automate, etc.)
  • Knowledge of statistics (e.g., statistics basics, statistical modeling, experimental design, hypothesis testing, etc.)
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, organizational planning, teamwork, analytical reasoning, and adaptability
  • Ability to be respectful, approachable, and team-oriented while building strong working relationships and a positive work environment.

Preferred:

  • Experience supporting operational process improvement efforts in a warehousing and/or manufacturing environment
  • Experience supporting operational process improvement efforts in a warehousing and/or manufacturing environment
  • SQL/VBA/R/Python/general coding skills
  • Clear understanding of Lean/Continuous improvement concepts

The anticipated base pay for this position is between 22.00/hr and 51.50/hr, but will be based on candidate's program year, discipline, degree and/or experience. This position is overtime eligible. Intern/Co-ops may be eligible to participate in Company employee benefit programs such as medical insurance, sick time, holiday pay, and the Company’s consolidated retirement plan in accordance with the terms of the applicable plans.
