The Corporate Controller is a strategic and hands-on accounting leader responsible for overseeing core accounting operations, ensuring reporting accuracy, compliance, and internal controls. The Controller partners closely with leaders across Technical Accounting, Financial Reporting, Tax, and Treasury to maintain a strong and scalable financial foundation. This role requires a strong understanding of financial reporting, internal controls, and regulatory requirements.
Financial Reporting: Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with US GAAP. Ensure timely and accurate reporting of financial results to stakeholders, including the Board of Directors and investors. Drive automation and process improvement across the financial cycles. Controls and Process: Develop, implement, and maintain robust internal control framework (SOX compliance) to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Partner with Internal Audit to identify, assess and mitigate financial risks. Optimize ERP and financial systems for scalable reporting. Compliance and Regulatory: Ensure compliance with all applicable financial regulations and reporting requirements. Oversee the preparation of all annual statutory audits in accordance with local GAAP. Prepare for and coordinate with external auditors during the annual audit process. Team Leadership & Development: Supervise and mentor high performing members of accounting team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement. Align priorities with CAO and peer leaders to drive enterprise-sed initiatives. Develop succession planning and talent development programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of team members. Cross-Functional Partnership: Collaborate with FP& A, Legal, HR, IT and business units. Provide actionable insights to support strategic initiatives and M& A. Ensure seamless integration across accounting, reporting, tax, and treasury. - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or equivalent certification required.
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in a senior financial role, with at least 5 years in a controller position.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and SEC reporting requirements.
- Proven experience in managing a finance team and leading financial operations in a publicly traded company.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization.
Preferred Qualifications: - Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (MBA).
- Big 4 public accounting experience strongly preferred.
- Experience in the B2B industry, particularly with the technology sector.
- Familiarity with Oracle Fusion ERP system.
