Primary Duties & Responsibilities - Support re-engineering floor plan projects for new product line set up
- Create and modify 2d drawings and 3d CAD models.
- Make basic modifications to existing parts using machining equipment (training will be provided).
- Help identify issues on the production floor.
- Enter newly designed components into Coherent ERP system (training will be provided)
Education & Experience - Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program pursuing a degree in engineering.
Skills & Other Requirements - Mechanical aptitude.
- Good understanding of how mechanical systems are built and taken apart.
- Solution oriented, ability to creatively solve issues in a timely manner and provide clear solutions.
- Team-oriented but able to work independently when needed.
- Adaptable and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.
- Solidworks experience a must.
- Mechanical Drawing and Drafting experience a must.
