Primary Duties & Responsibilities

• Support re-engineering floor plan projects for new product line set up
• Create and modify 2d drawings and 3d CAD models.
• Make basic modifications to existing parts using machining equipment (training will be provided).
• Help identify issues on the production floor.
• Enter newly designed components into Coherent ERP system (training will be provided)

Education & Experience

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program pursuing a degree in engineering.

Skills & Other Requirements

• Mechanical aptitude.
• Good understanding of how mechanical systems are built and taken apart.
• Solution oriented, ability to creatively solve issues in a timely manner and provide clear solutions.
• Team-oriented but able to work independently when needed.
• Adaptable and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.
• Solidworks experience a must.
• Mechanical Drawing and Drafting experience a must.
