We are looking for a Contract Manager to support various customer projects across the BeNe zone. This development role is suited for colleagues eager to build expertise in contract management, commercial risk, and project financial performance within a customer project environment.
It offers a strong learning curve through real project exposure and close mentorship from a Senior Contract Manager and Legal. You will work closely with Project Managers, Finance, Legal, and Supply Chain, gaining autonomy while becoming an active member of the EU CM team, committed to secure, profitable, and compliant project delivery.
Key Missions & Responsibilities1.
Tender & Contract Formation Phase- Support contract reviews and contractual positioning for customer projects, in line with CM rules
- Assist in identifying and mitigating contractual, commercial, scope, and schedule risks with Legal and SMEs
- Support back-to-back alignment and contract handover to execution teams
This phase builds your foundation in
early risk anticipation and commercial strategy.
2. Project Execution Phase- Support contract administration and help Project Managers manage contractual risks and opportunities
- Assist in change management activities, including variation orders, claims, and contractual correspondence
- Develop hands-on exposure to financial drivers such as margin protection, cash flow, and forecasting
This phase strengthens your understanding of project execution and financial acumen.
3. Cross-Functional Collaboration & Best Practices- Work closely with Project Management, Legal, Finance, and Supply Chain teams
- Apply CM tools, templates, and governance while ensuring proper documentation and compliance
- Contribute to CM best practices and actively engage in the EU CM community
Reporting & Governance- Reporting to the One solution Leader and Regional Contract Management organization dotted line.
Profile & CompetenciesExperience & Background- Extensive experience in the electrical engineering industry in a project, commercial, legal, financial, or operational role.
- Interest in customer projects, contracts, and commercial topics
- Exposure to MV/LV, construction, energy, or infrastructure projects is a plus, but not mandatory
Language Requirements- Dutch - mandatory
- English - mandatory
- French is an advantage in the BeNe context
