Hermes is hiring a Sales Associate Bijenkorf Amsterdam in Amsterdam, NH. This is a full-time position.
General Mission
As a Sales Associate, you are at the heart of the store's activities. You welcome all visitors in a warm and friendly manner and consistently deliver quality service to all our clients. You adapt to each client, identifying their needs and delighting them across the different Hermès universes. You focus on delivering high-quality sales, developing strong client relationships, and providing post-sale services.
Main Activities
• Be the client's first impression of the Hermès brand and convey warmth, courtesy, elegance, and simplicity at all times.
• Provide excellent customer service, adapted to the culture and personality of each client, and maintain a pleasant shopping environment consistent with the Hermès brand image.
• Develop sales across all product universes, always keeping in mind the quality of the products and the excellence of service that Hermès wishes to offer its clients.
• Reach out to current and potential customers to establish and maintain client relationships and to inform them about new products and services.
• Identify and handle client enquiries and concerns.
What You Will Need
• At least 5 years of relevant customer-facing experience in luxury retail or another high-end service environment.
• A true passion for people and service.
• A team-player attitude to achieve common goals and go the extra mile.
• Fluency in Dutch and English; Mandarin is a plus.
• The ability to adapt to different cultures and a genuine sense of empathy.
• A broad interest in, and knowledge of, general culture topics (arts, travel, literature, news, etc.).
