Industrial Maintenance Technician – Weekend Night Shift

Nashua, NH | Full-Time | Weekly Pay

$25–$32 per hour (based on experience)
+ 20% weekend night shift differential
$3, 000 bonus after training

Crane Currency is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician to support our manufacturing operations on the weekend night shift. This role focuses on mechanical troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and equipment repair in a production environment.

This opportunity offers premium pay, schedule stability, and weekday flexibility for technicians who prefer a weekend schedule.

About the Role

As a Weekend Night Shift Maintenance Technician, you will play a critical role in maintaining the reliability and performance of manufacturing equipment. You’ll work independently and as part of a skilled maintenance team to minimize downtime and support safe, efficient operations.

This is a hands‑on, long‑term role in a manufacturing setting — not a facilities‑only position.

Training & Shift Transition

New hires will complete training on 1st or 2nd shift prior to transitioning to the weekend night schedule.

• Training duration is based on experience and operational needs
• Training may last up to 6 months to ensure full readiness for weekend responsibilities
• The $3, 000 bonus is paid after:
  • Successful completion of training, and
  • One full month working the weekend night shift

Training length is individualized; some technicians may transition sooner based on experience.

Qualifications

Required:

• Strong mechanical troubleshooting experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
• Ability to work independently on the weekend night shift
• Willingness to train on another shift prior to transitioning to weekends
• U.S. Citizenship required with the ability to obtain and maintain Public Trust clearance, in compliance with our U.S. Government contract requirements

Preferred (not required):

• Experience with electrical, controls, or PLC systems
• Manufacturing maintenance, industrial mechanic, or similar background

How You Will Make an Impact

Key responsibilities include:

• Maintain and repair industrial mechanical equipment such as presses, coaters, slitters, conveyors, wastewater systems, and thermal oxidizers
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to minimize equipment downtime
• Learn manufacturing processes and equipment to understand system functionality and performance needs
• Support production through proactive and reactive maintenance activities
• Maintain interior and exterior facility areas in a safe and efficient manner
• Execute preventive maintenance tasks in collaboration with Production and Engineering
• Coordinate wastewater treatment plant operations to meet production demands and reporting requirements
• Participate on Manufacturing teams, Safety Committees, or serve as a designated on‑call contact for security or fire alarm response, as needed
