THE COMMUNITY SUPPORTS NETWORK, INC is hiring a Direct Support Professional (Omaha) in Omaha, NE. This is a full-time position.
CSN-Omaha is looking for Direct Support Professionals to join our wonderful team!! Starting pay is up to $16.00 to $17.00/hour, depending on knowledge, skills, and abilities. Direct Support Professional (Caregiver) Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: NOT ALL are required just nice to have! We providefree in-service trainingfor all employees! Must be 18 years of age or older (Required)High school diploma or GED (Required)Valid drivers license and current auto insurance (Required)Reliable vehicle to transport clients during shift (Required)Ability to pass all background checks (Required)Any experience with Customer Service, Human Services, Caregiver, In-home services, Healthcare, Home Health Care, Foster system, Shared Living or Host Home, Assisted Living, Nursing Home, Behavioral Health, Psychology, Social Services, CSN, LPN or Registered Nurse (Helpful but not required)Any experience in the field of Intellectual and Developmental Disability (IDD) such as Autism, Behavior Disorders, Traumatic Brain Injuries, Cerebral Palsy, Down Syndrome, Fetal Alcohol Syndrome, Fragile X Syndrome, and/or Mental Health Disorders such asDepression, Anxiety Disorders, Schizophrenia, Eating Disorders, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and addictive behaviors(Helpful but not required)Proficient computer skills.
