Description:

We are seeking a 2nd Shift Warehouse and Logistics Supervisor to join our Schneider Electric team in Lincoln, NE. This role will lead end-to-end supply chain operations, driving performance across upstream, downstream, and warehouse functions. The ideal candidate will excel in supplier management, production planning, and continuous improvement within a manufacturing environment.

This position works 2nd Shift from 2: 00 pm - 10: 30 pm.

What will you do?
  • Responsible for hierarchical management of operators including performance, development, engagement, discipline, etc. within department
  • May be responsible for job assignments of employees based on changes in demand and/or priorities.
  • Enforce Safety rules throughout the sector
  • Report and manage incidents.
  • Enforce compliance with quality system to meet the required quality level.
  • Optimize daily and weekly balance in workload and resources.
  • Train & adjust Material Handler programs according to customer priorities
  • Ensure management of the logistics process of
    • receiving goods
    • stocking
    • picking
    • Material handling
    • shipping finished goods and wastes
  • Manage the Cycle Counting process throughout the facility
  • Lead employee meetings to communicate company goals and information
  • Synchronize support function actors on short term actions
  • Manage warehouse processes performance and cycle event of the plant
  • Coordinate with Supply Chain Planning Central team and deploy best practices
  • Ensure accurate inventories with permanent alignment between operations & inventory
  • Guarantee that service level, quality environment, process lead time, maintenance & productivity goals are reached
  • Manage the yearly appraisal* of all hourly employees inside the sector
  • Monitor and analyze logistic costs


What qualifications will make you successful?
  • Preferred Bachelors Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business or related field is required or equivlement work experince
  • 3+ years experience in Warehouse Management and Shipping & Receiving
  • Experience in leading and managing cycle counting process preferred
  • Inventory management, receiving, shipping experience preferred
  • Supervisory experience preferred
  • SAP experience a plus
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment a plus
  • Previous Lean Manufacturing a plus
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to lead a team
