Description:
Responsibilities
Quotations and Order Processing:
· Prepare, enter, and send quotations, sales orders, and purchase orders for products and services.
· Work closely with the Outside Sales team to ensure accurate and timely order processing.
Effective Communication:
· Answer incoming calls, respond to emails, and address customer inquiries and concerns in a timely manner.
· Build effective relationships and trust with Team Walling and customers through active listening and understanding of their needs.
Order Follow-up and Coordination:
· Follow up and expedite customer orders as needed, ensuring customer satisfaction.
· Collaborate with vendors on purchase orders, maintaining effective communication channels.
· Facilitate packing, shipping and receiving inbound and outbound orders.
Record Keeping:
· Maintain both digital and physical files accurately to ensure easy retrieval of information.
· Provide back-up support for other Inside Sales representatives during their absence.
Training and Additional Duties:
· Participate in all training opportunities to gain knowledge of the company's product lines.
· Maintain and participate in company culture.
· Actively participate in regularly scheduled company and team meetings.
· Work with Accounting to follow up on AR issues as needed.
Due to the reliance on this role from our team and customers, a strong emphasis on attendance is expected.
Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
· A minimum of 5 years of customer service and 3 years of wholesale distribution experience is preferred.
· High School Diploma or equivalent required.
· Self-motivated and a self-starter with excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills.
· Strong basic math skills, high attention to detail, and the ability to multitask.
· Solid computer skills, including proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office.#wallingco
