Federal Reserve Bank (FRB) is hiring a Vendor Management Analyst I-II - Treasury, Payments, and Program Management in Omaha, NE. This is a full-time position.
Job Summary:
The Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City is seeking a Vendor Management Analyst to support the Stored Value Card (SVC) business line in support of the Department of Treasury. This position will assist in the management and coordination of the various vendors and contractors used in support of the SVC's development, production and operations life cycles ensuring adherence to all Federal Reserve Bank and Department of Treasury rules and processes.
Key Activities:
- Provides analytical and vendor management support to management, staff and legal counterparts in completing various contract updates.
- Develops recommendations and makes presentations to management and staff.
- Monitors status, identifies trends, and designs reports that focus on quality measures, performance metrics, or other contractual and vendor related goals and objectives. Reviews and enhances outputs to ensure reports meet audience needs.
- Participates in budget-related activities, such as developing and monitoring vendor budget, compiling financial data, forecasting financial trends, monitoring expenses and explaining variances, responding to ad-hoc inquiries, and providing rationale and recommendations for improved efficiency.
- Identifies and effectively implements areas for continuous improvement through researching market/industry best practices, collecting and analyzing data, drawing appropriate conclusions, and presenting results in written reports and/or verbal presentations using visual aids.
- Supports activities related to identifying and managing vendor risk, such as internal audits and Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) processes.
- Leads or completes ad-hoc projects and/or assignments.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
