BOYS' BASKETBALL COACH- VALLEY MIDDLE SCHOOL

Valley Middle School is seeking qualified candidates for aBoys Basketball Coach. Candidates should have coaching and/or competitive playing experience, a passion for basketball, and the ability to develop engaging and challenging practices. Coaches will be responsible for planning and leading practices, developing game strategies, and promoting individual and team improvement. Successful candidates will demonstrate strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills while building positive and meaningful relationships with student-athletes. Coaches are expected to foster an inclusive team environment that emphasizes skill development, teamwork, sportsmanship, accountability, and respect. Responsibilities include coordinating practices and games, maintaining team records and equipment, and communicating regularly with student-athletes, families, and school administration. Candidates must demonstrate a commitment to the academic, athletic, and personal growth of middle school students while supporting Valley Middle Schools mission, vision, and expectations. Previous coaching experience is preferred, and successful candidates must meet district requirements, including passing a background check.
