Description:

Position Summary:
The Senior Director, CRM and CPQ Product Owner will be responsible for leading the strategy, development, and ongoing management of the company's CRM (Microsoft Dynamics 365) and CPQ platforms. This leader will play a critical role in ensuring the company's lead-to-quote processes are scalable, data-driven, and aligned with business objectives. As a senior product owner, this person will collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, IT, Finance, and Operations to define and execute a best-in-class commercial technology roadmap.
This role is ideal for a strategic, results-oriented leader with deep experience in CRM and CPQ systems who thrives in complex, high-growth environments and can operate across both business and technical domains.
Key Responsibilities:
• Own the strategic roadmap and business requirements for Dynamics 365 CRM and CPQ tools, ensuring alignment with commercial goals.
• Lead cross-functional discovery sessions to gather user needs, prioritize functionality, and translate business requirements into system capabilities.
• Serve as the primary business-side product owner and liaison to IT for development, implementation, and ongoing optimization of CRM and CPQ solutions.
• Partner with ERP product owners to ensure seamless integration across the lead-to-quote-to-cash lifecycle.
• Define and maintain governance models, workflows, and data structures that support consistent and scalable operations.
• Oversee user adoption, change management, and training programs to drive effective usage of CRM and CPQ platforms.
• Collaborate with executive stakeholders to track KPIs and develop dashboards for sales performance, customer engagement, pipeline health, and process efficiency.
• Manage vendor relationships and lead efforts related to platform upgrades, third-party integrations, and support escalations.
• Drive innovation by evaluating new features, emerging technologies, and enhancements to improve the customer and seller experience.
• Provide strategic leadership and mentorship to junior product managers, analysts, or admins supporting CRM/CPQ systems.

Qualifications:
• 15+ years of progressive experience in commercial systems, sales operations, or business transformation roles.
• 7+ years of direct experience as a product owner or senior leader for CRM and/or CPQ platforms, preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365 and a modern CPQ solution.
• Proven experience delivering cross-functional technology implementations in B2B environments; construction, manufacturing, or distribution industry experience is strongly preferred.
• Solid understanding of sales processes, pipeline management, pricing, and quote configuration workflows.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; able to use data to drive decisions and measure business impact.
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills across business and technical audiences.
• Experience managing large-scale projects with competing priorities and multiple vendor and internal teams.
• Bachelor's degree required; MBA or advanced technical degree preferred.
• Familiarity with ERP integration (ideally D365 Finance & Operations) is a plus.Physical Demands
