The Project Accountant is responsible for completing pay applications and assisting with billing. This person will work in direct support of the Accounting Manager.
Essential Functions - Assist with billing, specifically in regard to Locklear/Rogers projects
- Reconcile jobs
- Change order research and help get change orders for all salesmen
- Proper project close out
- Comsense reports, cleaning up WIP and sales orders
- Research back charges, missing material, change orders, etc.
- Other relative duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications - Associates' degree, or an equivalent combination of education/experience
- Experience in both construction and accounting related positions preferred
- Must pass pre-employment background check and drug test
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities - Strong mathematical and analytical skills required
- Strong working knowledge of all Microsoft Office products specifically Excel
- Strong written and verbal communication skills are also critical

Work Environment This position operates primarily in a professional office environment. It routinely involves the use of standard office equipment such as computers, phones, printers, copiers, and filing systems. Occasional business travel may be required.
