Description:

The Assistant Regional Operations Support Manager plays a crucial role in bolstering the effectiveness and efficiency of the Operations Department. Working closely under the guidance of the Regional Operations Manager, this role is instrumental in implementing strategic initiatives, optimizing operational processes, and ensuring the achievement of operational excellence across the region. The position requires a dynamic, proactive individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to continuous improvement and operational innovation.

Essential Functions
  • Act as the primary support to the Regional Operations Manager, assisting in the management and execution of operational strategies.
  • Coordinate with various departments to facilitate smooth operation processes and ensure the alignment of operational activities with overall organizational goals.
  • Assist in the oversight of strategic initiatives aimed at enhancing operational efficiency, safety compliance, and profitability within the region.
  • Support the implementation of training programs, safety protocols, and quality standards across all operational sites.
  • Conduct regular analysis of operational data to identify trends, forecast needs, and recommend improvements.
  • Engage with team members across all levels to promote a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and high performance.
  • Participate in the development and monitoring of performance metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of operational strategies and initiatives.
  • Provide regular reports to the Regional Operations Manager on operational progress, challenges, and achievements.
  • Represent the Operations Department in cross-functional meetings, providing insights and updates on operational initiatives and progress.
  • Facilitate communication and information flow between the regional operations team and other departments to ensure cohesive operational efforts.
  • Other relative duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in operations, with a proven track record of supporting operational excellence and team management.
  • Previous experience in the commercial door, hardware, and system integration industry highly desirable.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with Comsense or similar operational management software.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities with a focus on mentorship and team development.
  • Capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Flexibility to travel as needed within the region to support operational initiatives and site visits.
