How will you make your impact?
This is a new position at Linxon. As a Lead Engineer, you play a pivotal role in shaping the future of energy infrastructure. You are entrusted with leading, coordinating, and executing all engineering aspects across Linxon’s diverse and high‑impact projects—including Air‑Insulated Switchgear (AIS), Gas‑Insulated Switchgear (GIS), Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), Rail and Infrastructure programs, Data Centers, and both offshore and onshore Wind developments.
In this role, you serve as the technical anchor for the project team—driving safety, cost efficiency, quality, and reliability at every stage. You provide strong technical leadership across all engineering disciplines, ensuring seamless integration and alignment from concept through execution.
What will you do?
Own all engineering execution—in‑house and outsourced—from proposal to energization, ensuring every project delivers contractual, technical, and performance excellence.
Command the engineering budget, driving cost‑efficient decisions that strengthen project financials.
Enforce schedule discipline to deliver high‑quality engineering packages on time and within targeted cost.
Set the project’s technical vision, defining design criteria and maintaining a precise, risk‑aware deliverables plan.
Inject innovative, cost‑smart engineering solutions that boost performance and simplify complexity.
Elevate vendor selection and subcontract strategy through decisive technical evaluation and negotiation influence.
Guarantee safety‑compliant, standards‑aligned designs, eliminating risk and rework.
Audit all design packages for accuracy, constructability, and cost impact before they reach the field.
Validate vendor compliance, witnessing factory tests to protect equipment quality and project reliability.
Strengthen project delivery by partnering with the PM on scope control, procurement, schedule accuracy, and change management.
Champion quality and document control, ensuring clean, traceable, audit‑ready engineering records.
Lead all customer technical engagements, securing approvals and resolving design issues with speed and authority.
Unblock construction by answering site technical questions and closing NCRs quickly and safely.
Who you are?
You bring 8+ years of engineering or project management experience, ideally within an EPC environment, giving you the practical insight and leadership skills needed to drive complex energy‑infrastructure projects forward.
You hold a BSc or MSc in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent), providing the technical foundation to make informed decisions, solve complex challenges, and lead with confidence in a highly technical setting.
Take clear ownership of engineering budgets and decisions.
Consistently uphold contract requirements, quality, and safety.
Bring strong technical judgment and a collaborative mindset.
Help teams deliver reliable results that support a sustainable energy future.
