JOB TITLE: Lead Engineer, Energy and Infrastructure Projects

Join us as a Lead Engineer at Linxon you'll take charge of engineering execution for high- and medium-voltage substation projects, including AIS, GIS, BESS, and infrastructure ventures. Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you’ll ensure safety, quality, and cost-efficiency while driving technical excellence across all phases of project delivery.

What will you do?

Engineering Leadership

• Lead and coordinate all engineering activities (internal and outsourced) during proposal, design, and construction phases.

• Ensure strict adherence to project contracts, scopes of work, and technical specifications.

Project Execution

• Develop and maintain engineering schedules focused on on-time delivery, quality, and cost control.

• Own and update the Document Deliverables list throughout the project lifecycle.

Design & Innovation

• Support the creation of design criteria and engineering deliverables (e.g., single-line diagrams, layout drawings).

• Drive innovation and cost-saving strategies during proposal development.

Vendor & Subcontractor Management

• Evaluate vendor/subcontractor bids and assist in contract negotiations.

• Ensure bid packages align with customer requirements and internal standards.

Quality & Compliance

• Review internal and external design packages for accuracy, cost-effectiveness, and constructability.

• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.

• Monitor vendor performance and witness factory acceptance testing.

Project Support

• Assist with scope management, procurement, change orders, and schedule updates.

• Support change management and resolve design-related site queries and NCRs.

Client & Stakeholder Engagement

• Lead technical discussions with clients and manage engineering approvals.

• Address and resolve design-related issues throughout the project.
