SED, a division of Applied Research Associates, Inc, is hiring!
Description:
ARA has an opening for a Senior GL for the DevSecOps Directorate within the Software Enterprise Division (SED), and we are seeking qualified applicants. The SGL will have responsibility for multiple Platform and DevSecOps groups (55+ personnel, $30M+ in revenue) supporting SED, the Integrated Mission Systems (IMS) sector, and various corporate initiatives. The new SGL will be responsible for evolving the organization in a way to best align with SED’s other directorates and missions (i.e., Kinetic M& S, Cyber and Non-Kinetic M& S, and Digital and Mission Engineering). In order to be successful, each of the groups need to work closely together and with other groups in SED and ARA to ensure the success of the overall mission. The main office for SED is in Raleigh, NC with additional staff in San Antonio, TX and various remote and satellite locations. Currently, the directorate consists of a portfolio of projects that include customers in the DoD and IC. The directorate is working to diversify both its portfolio and customer base, particularly in the Army and Navy services. In addition, the Director will lead company-wide practices regarding DevSecOps, and should anticipate playing a significant role in shaping and contributing to how we evolve various architectures to effectively and efficiently support the DoD’s DevSecOps strategy (Ref 1 and Ref 2). The company-wide DevSecOps platform is currently resourced leveraging the directorate’s expertise and will continue to do so.
