Schneider Electric is hiring a Strategic Account Executive, Design Firms in Raleigh, NC. This is a full-time position.

We're looking for a Strategic Account Executive to own strategic relationships with select Design Firms, engaging meaningful discussions across power automation and software, establishing SE as the Energy Technology Partner. This role involves facilitating alignment across Energy Management, Industrial Automation, Software, SE Advisory and global teams to influence both projects and joint growth initiatives.

What will you do?
  • Meaningfully engage with c-suite and other key stakeholders, obtaining sponsorship to deliver transformative change, enabling SE teams to influence projects from early concept through detailed design.
  • Uncover new opportunities for growth by coordinating meaningful engagements, adding new revenue streams to the traditional design firm work, differentiating SE from competitors.
  • Embed the SE portfolio into engineering workflows (ETAP, AVEVA, RIB SpecLink), while influencing templates, reference designs, and standards through impactful training series, positioning SE as the natural partner by the time projects are released to the market.

  • Account Management - advanced level; leveraging robust account planning to drive an effective operating rhythm with key stakeholders, ensuring consistency to drive strategic initiatives forward
  • Consultative Selling - advanced level; guiding customers through complex decisions with value-based solutions
  • Customer Relationship Management - advanced level; building trusted partnerships that influence project specifications and joint growth initiatives
  • Negotiation - advanced level; closing complex deals while balancing customer needs and business objectives
  • Requirements Analysis - advanced level; translating project needs into actionable technical recommendations
  • Sales Prospecting - advanced level; identifying and pursuing new opportunities within assigned territory
  • Data Analysis and Interpretation - advanced level; leveraging insights to inform account strategy and prioritization, transforming SAE efforts into orders and pipeline growth to meet business targets

For this U.S. based position, the expected pay range is USD 188, 000 - USD 282, 000 per year. This pay range includes base pay and short-term incentives. The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United States. Our pay ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level. Within the pay range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
