The Inventory Manager is responsible for leading all aspects of materials planning, warehouse operations, material movement, logistics execution, and inventory control. This includes oversight of internal and external warehouses, inventory accuracy, receiving, shipping, and customer responsiveness.

Operational Excellence, Financial Discipline & Accountability- Achieve and sustain performance targets on key metrics, including:
- Medical Incident Rate
- Inventory Value & Accuracy
- Scrap/Compliance KPIs
- Backorder Value
- Productivity & On-Time Delivery
- Improve inventory turns and reduce Days of Inventory on Hand (DOH) through effective planning, stocking strategies, and reduction of excess/obsolete inventory.
- Drive growth, productivity, and cash improvement by optimizing material flow, improving process performance, and eliminating waste.
- Own and manage JDE/MRP processes to ensure accurate planning signals, inventory visibility, and system integrity.
- Drive standard work and process adherence in Receiving, Shipping, Warehousing, Inventory Control, Scrap Control, and 3PL operations.
- Ensure compliance with all quality, audit, and regulatory requirements related to materials management.
Process Discipline & Continuous Improvement- Lead documentation and standardization of Materials and Warehouse processes using plant-approved formats.
- Conduct audits to identify gaps and implement strong corrective and preventive actions.
- Govern cycle counting programs and coordinate Physical Inventory preparation and execution.
- Partner with Finance and Sourcing to ensure accurate transactions and compliance.
- Support plant initiatives such as centralized warehouse implementation, Lean transformation, and materials flow optimization.
What will make you successful: - Must work effectively and collaboratively with:
- Quality. Production. Engineering. Sourcing. Commercial Operations / Customer Service. External partners and 3PL providers.
- Experience in planning, purchasing, materials management, and inventory control within a manufacturing environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
- Working knowledge of MRP/ERP systems (AS400, SAP, JDE preferred) and inventory management principles.
- Strong servant leadership-coaching, developing, and empowering teams.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and data-driven decision-making capability.
- Ability to influence across departments and drive process discipline.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple issues and projects simultaneously.
- Highly collaborative with strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
- Results-driven with strong ownership, accountability, and follow-through.
