Description:
Heluna Health and RTI International seek one Survey Interviewer for a community-based research project involving data collection with people who use illicit opioids and stimulants in the southern Piedmont region of North Carolina, including Gaston and Burke counties.
The Survey Interviewer will conduct quantitative data collection involving face-to-face survey interviews. Work will be conducted at the two, community field sites in Gaston and Burke counties. Interviewer will be stationed at two locations and will travel between locations. The Interviewer will assist the Field Study Coordinator/Project Coordinator with activities related to follow-up and study retention.
This is a 100%-time position (40 hours per week) and benefitted. We are seeking a flexible and meticulous person with strong interpersonal and communication skills who is familiar with the principles of harm reduction and has experience working with vulnerable and stigmatized populations. Past work with the population of people who use illicit drugs is preferred.
Employment is provided by Heluna Health.
The pay rate for this role is $25.00 per hour.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
Work will primarily be conducted at two, brick & mortar field site locations in the community. This position will require traveling to two different work locations; for example, M/W at one location and T/TH at another. They are roughly 30 driving minutes from each other.
