Pepsi Bottling Ventures is seeking a VFB Sales & Category Insights Analyst to join our team.

VFB Sales & Category Insights Analyst Role Overview

The key purpose of this position is to support the Ventures Food & Beverage (VFB) team by delivering actionable sales, category, and promotional insights to drive business growth. This role will lead business reporting, performance tracking, and data visualization, while collaborating across sales, marketing, finance, and category teams. In addition to supporting financial processes, this role will help optimize systems and reporting tools that enable strategic decision-making across channels, including national retailers like Walmart, Sam's Club, and Amazon.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and internal reporting tools for sales and marketing teams.
  • Track and report on VFB KPI's, including market share, unit volume, distribution gains, and promotional ROI.
  • Analyze internal shipment data, Retail Link, Circana, and eComm platforms for business trends.
  • Translate complex data into clear, compelling dashboards and visualizations for executive and field teams.
  • Leverage technology to streamline reporting, automate scorecards, and provide timely insights to VFB leadership and sales teams.
  • Manage Madrid & OTIF scorecards for Sam's Club & Walmart.
  • Work directly with Sam's supply planning manager to review weekly and monthly projected forecasts and Sam's warehouse on hand inventories and concerns.
  • Work with Acceleration Walmart Marketplace and Infinity Blue eComm team to manage weekly sales, profit, and consumer analytics, review weekly trends, and ensure NT and FS brands are profitable on these platforms.
  • Lead PBV contact center communication.
  • Set up and manage new item submissions and product onboarding across all VFB customers and channels.
  • Maintain and track promotional calendars using the PBV promotional planner.
  • Serve as the category expert for VFB Grocery, Mass, Club and Ecommerce by identifying trends, gaps, and whitespace opportunities for all VFB customers and brands.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Three (3) to five (5) years of experience in both analytical & category management roles required.
  • Strong analytical and reporting experience (preferably in beverage/CPG industry).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, PowerPoint, and syndicated tools (Retail Link, Circana, etc.).
  • Experience with SAP, UXT, and promotional tracking systems is a plus.
  • Ability to distill large datasets into clear and actionable business insights.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills with cross-functional teams.
  • Must be a self-starter, detail oriented, and comfortable with complexity.
  • Ability to deliver knowledge transfer through instruction and training.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate business needs into system solutions.
  • Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be able to work within cross-functional teams and thrive in a matrix environment.
  • Must be able to work hours necessary to complete assigned tasks.
