Pepsi Bottling Ventures is seeking a Sales Intern to join our team in Harrisburg, NC.

Sales Intern Role Overview

The Sales Intern will manage product sampling at special events and high-profile locations. They will also provide customer service by handling urgent deliveries when products are out-of-stock or incorrectly picked and will execute point-of-sale activities to drive beverage purchase intent. Additionally, the employee will work on special projects, including auditing funding requests and reimbursements from PepsiCo.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities
  • Product Sampling: Responsible for organizing and overseeing product sampling events. This includes setting up sampling stations, engaging customers to provide product information, and collecting feedback.
  • Customer Service: Will provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries and resolving issues promptly. This includes handling urgent deliveries when products are out-of-stock or incorrectly picked, ensuring that customers receive their orders in a timely manner.
  • Special Projects: Various special projects assigned by the management team. These projects may include auditing funding requests and reimbursements from PepsiCo, conducting market research, and assisting with the development of sales strategies
  • Execute Point-of-Sale: Responsible for executing point-of-sale activities to drive beverage purchase intent. This includes setting up and maintaining point-of-sale displays, ensuring that promotional materials are effectively utilized, and monitoring inventory levels.


Required Qualifications
  • Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or a related field.
  • Customer-service oriented.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Eager to learn and self motivated.
  • Must enjoy talking with people in small and large settings.
  • Enjoys physical labor with the ability to safely lift 40lb boxes.
  • Personal vehicle and clean driver's license required with ability for daily local travel to/from events and customer locations.
  • Experience in Microsoft Office, such as PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Proficiency in Canva, Social Media Platforms, or AI a plus.
  • Must be able to travel 50% of the time by car.

Compensation and Benefits
  • $16-$21 an hour.
  • Starting hourly pay for this position is set based on location, confirmed job-related skills, experience, and education. Your recruiter will share more about the specific pay range for this position during the interview process.
