Job Description PURPOSE OF THE JOBSell-in programs to retailers that drive volume, share, and profits for VFB.
RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES- Meets with customers, negotiates, communicates, and implements marketing plans and pricing structures for select national & regional accounts.
- Informs team of opportunities, issues, and barriers in a timely fashion, as well as report progress on current objectives
- Utilizes fact-based tools to improve our ability to provide customers with more value than our competitors.
- Identifies opportunities, set objectives for placing equipment, space allocation, positioning, promotional activities that lead to desired business results.
- Market visits to review activity execution and opportunities.
- Analyzes period results, develops recommendations, and communicates strategy changes.
- Develops and updates weekly period forecast by customer.
- Posts audit programs and initiatives; Develop post-audit recommendations for improvement.
- Manages contractual costs and the associated accruals.
- Attend & lead trade shows participations.
- Other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS- Bachelor's degree in business administration, communications, marketing, or related field.
- Five (5) to Ten (10) years of outside sales experience directly calling on retail buyers required.
- Consumer product sales experience.
- Broker distribution management.
- Dynamic communication skills required.
- Must be able to effectively communicate with both external and internal customers.
- Must be proficient with Microsoft Office and power point applications.
- Excellent prioritizing and decision-making skills are required.
- Strong organizational and planning skills are required.
- A valid driver's license is required.
ESSENTIAL MENTAL AND PHYSICAL FUNCTIONSMental FunctionsRoutine repetitive job requiring moderate amount of mental or visual alertness and effort. Work is not fatiguing to the eyes.
