Business Applications Analyst Role OverviewProvide production support for VIP, SAP and other business applications. This position will also be responsible for completing requirements documentation, test script creation, testing, training documentation and training as appropriate to support Business Application projects.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities- Provides first/second level support, problem and resolution analysis of VIP and SAP applications.
- Maintain and configure VIP and SAP related to transactions necessary for daily operations.
- Provide support Business Application Process improvements; complete functional specifications, test coordination, testing, test documentation, training documentation, end user training.
- Provides support for Strategic Business Application Projects; tests coordination, testing, tests documentation, training documentation, end user training.
Required Qualifications- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Business Administration or related field is preferred.
- Two (2) years of experience supporting SAP business applications or other business software solutions.
- Business Degree with at least two (2) courses in IT/Computer Science can be a substitute for previous experience.
- Knowledge of Business Processes in Finance, Controlling/Costing, Manufacturing, Sales, and/or Delivery is preferred.
- Previous experience in consumer products industry preferred.
- Experience in ABAP is a plus.
- Self-starter and independent analytical thinker with a high attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks while working and adapting to a dynamic and fast paced environment.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to understand business impact and prioritize assignments.
- Able to work hours necessary to complete assigned tasks.
- Willing to travel up to 25-30% of the time by car or plane.
