Beverage Equipment Training Specialist to join our team.

Beverage Equipment Training Specialist Role OverviewThis position will be responsible for facilitating training programs and ensuring the development of training materials tailored to meet the needs of customers, employees, and field teams. This position includes a blend of classroom instruction and in-field training at customer accounts or facilities. The individual will create Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), collaborate with field partners to identify training needs, and design curricula to enhance the overall effectiveness of training programs. The role also includes managing the training facility, equipment, and materials to support both internal and external training initiatives.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities- Design, develop, and implement training initiatives for all BES employees and sales team members.
- Work on BES-related projects with various cross-functional teams and suppliers.
- Administer and facilitate training courses in conjunction with PBNA and FOBO bottlers.
- Work with suppliers to develop training on new products, new technology, and implementation.
- Provide ongoing training and mentoring with existing sales and beverage equipment employees by working side-by-side on vending equipment.
- Discuss performance issues and class re-takes with managers.
- Work with Beverage Equipment Services to update departmental procedures and documentation.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications- Associates Degree of Applied Science in HVAC Technology or degree from an accredited technical school and previous supervisory experience preferred, or minimum six (6) years experience in the Food Service industry or related field.
- Extensive knowledge in electrical, refrigeration, diagrams and schematics.
- Must have a working knowledge of tools and their uses.
- Ability to read blueprints, shop drawings, and understand specifications.
- Capable to train all types of individuals, through classroom and hands-on.
- Strong skills in IFS/SAP, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Zoom preferred.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to multi-task and set priorities.
- Must be able to develop and facilitate various training workshops.
- Capable of adapting teaching techniques to fit the needs of the audience.
- Must work with all levels of management across all levels of the organization and be capable of working independently on special projects.
- Knowledge of electrical circuits, refrigeration theory, and beverage equipment.
- Customer service oriented.
- Ability to travel 50% to 60% of the time to other facilities, including work nights, weekends, holidays, and overnight stays for extended periods of time as needed for in-field training sessions and customer site visits.
